3. Grand Theft Auto IV - PlayStation 3
Genre: Action, Rated M (April 2008)
Developed by Rockstar North; Published by Rockstar
Part of Grand Theft Auto series.

"GTAIV is a game with a compelling and nonlinear storyline, a game with a great protagonist who you can't help but like, and a game that boasts a plethora of online multiplayer features in addition to its lengthy story mode. It's not without some flaws, but GTAIV is undoubtedly the best Grand Theft Auto yet."

4. LittleBigPlanet - PlayStation 3
Genre: Action, Rated E (October 2008)
Developed by Media Molecule; Published by SCEA

"Little Big Planet is a startlingly imaginative take on the platforming genre, and its story mode, while short, is truly outstanding. It's down to the community to elongate the life of the game, and while only the most ardent fans will be up to the task of making compelling content, the tools here certainly have some potential."

5. Resistance 2 - PlayStation 3
Genre: First-Person Shooter, Rated M (November 2008)
Developed by Insomniac Games; Published by SCEA

"The stirring scale of the single-player levels is impressive and the pervasive details make them truly awesome. Despite the squandered story, blasting your way through the campaign is electrifying, thanks largely to the deadly weapons in your arsenal. The cooperative multiplayer is a resounding success, and the competitive modes are terrific in their own right."

7. BioShock - PlayStation 3
Genre: First-Person Shooter, Rated M (October 2008)
Developed by 2K Marin; Published by 2K Games

"The graphics and gameplay are nearly identical across the platforms, so there is little reason to choose the PS3 release over the other versions. However, this game should be experienced no matter which system is your favorite. The story in BioShock is dark and satisfying, something that will make you contemplate it long after you've put the game down."

8. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - PlayStation 3
Genre: First-Person Shooter, Rated M (November 2007)
Developed by Infinity Ward; Published by Activision
Part of Call of Duty series.

"It's a shame that the single-player is so brief, but you should only skip out on Call of Duty 4 if you're the sort of person who doesn't appreciate great first-person shooter multiplayer. The quality of the content in the campaign is totally top-shelf, and the multiplayer is some of the best around, making this a truly superb package."

9. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - PlayStation 3
Genre: Role-Playing Game, Rated T (March 2007)
Developed by Bethesda; Published by Bethesda
Part of The Elder Scrolls series.

"This version does come with the Knights of the Nine add-on, which will add about 10 hours of gameplay to the already lengthy game, but it doesn't come with any of the other downloadable additions made available on the Xbox 360. In terms of extras, the PC trumps both other versions because of a wealth of free player-created content."

10. Fallout 3 - PlayStation 3
Genre: Role-Playing Game, Rated M (October 2008)
Developed by Bethesda; Published by Bethesda

"It has more in common with Bethesda's Elder Scrolls series than with previous Fallout games, but that is by no means a bad thing. In fact, Fallout 3 is leaner and meaner than Bethesda's previous efforts, less expansive but more intense, while still offering immense replay value and quite a few thrills along the way."

"Motorstorm is a good game that also feels like it has a great deal of untapped potential. As an over-the-top, gorgeous-to-look-at racer, Motorstorm is absolutely a success. As a deep and lasting experience, it's far from it."

50. Guitar Hero: World Tour - PlayStation 3
Genre: Rythm / Music, Rated T (October 2008)
Developed by Neversoft Ent.; Published by Activision Blizzard

"Guitar Hero World Tour is a huge leap forward for the Guitar Hero franchise. Although it's a great game, as well as a vast improvement over previous series entries, it doesn't do a whole lot that Rock Band and its sequel haven't already done (and in some cases, done better)."

Flawless.

Maybe you could keep a 'has-beens' list in the description. I'd like to know which has fallen.

Pretty good list but might need another update since Uncharted 2 was released.

Also Demon's Souls enters this list at #6, and Ninja Gaide Sigma 2 at #33.
