5. Eden Lake (2008)

The British make some pretty awesome horror films, but this emotional roller-coaster ride takes the cake. The tale of a young couple who plan a peaceful weekend getaway to the beautiful "Eden Lake" and get into trouble with a group of disturbed youngsters. Not for the faint of heart.

4. Spirited Away (2001)

In my opinion the greatest animated film of all time! Beautifully animated and written, heartachingly emotional and incrediby deep.

3. Jeepers Creepers (2001)

My favorite horror film since I first saw it three years ago. I must have watched it at least twenty times since then. Not exactly a deep or emotional film, but just buckets of incredibly well directed horror fun. I can watch this several times in a row without getting sick of it.

1. Donnie Darko (2001)

My favorite film of all time. What is so amazing about this flick is that anyone can come up with their own explanation of it. It can be just a simple time travel movie, a deeply philosphical mind trip or just a beautiful film about our existence in this world, religion and love with time travel elements thrown in (my take).
