Contains scenes of explicit ultraviolence, sexual abuse and destroyed human life. An innocent couple is devastated by a rapist and then consumed with a desire for revenge.

Well, I'd agree with you but (nearly) every film deserves at least two viewings. And in the case of REQUIEM FOR A DREAM - more!

I'd suggest Mysterious Skin for your list. but I don't think you'd have the desire to sit through that even once!

I think Bruno makes this list. Then again, I couldn't even sit through it once.

Description

These are films that I have seen that I would find uncomfortable to sit through again. They are so successful at building up intensity and emotion that the ultimate misery that bestows the main characters in the long run is too much to bear!

I guess being on this list is generally a compliment.
