Urgent!! Need to see ASAP

People who added this item 3740  Average listal rating (2472 ratings) 7.7  IMDB Rating 8.1
1. 12 Monkeys (1995)
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 3900  Average listal rating (2676 ratings) 8  IMDB Rating 8.5
2. Alien (1979)
I really liked the atmosphere and I like the first movie better than the second one because the story is simpler.
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 4150  Average listal rating (2765 ratings) 8.1  IMDB Rating 8.6
3. American History X (1998)
I watched it on Youtube (I know, shame on me!) and I loved it so now I have to see FOR REAL on my TV without having to search for the next part every 10 minutes
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 1115  Average listal rating (606 ratings) 7.6  IMDB Rating 7.6
4. A Single Man (2009)
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 3938  Average listal rating (2617 ratings) 6.7  IMDB Rating
5. Batman Returns (1992)
I saw the opening sequence with the theme song on Youtube and I fell in love with it. It was good the first time but I now just realized how much I loved the atmosphere Tim Burton created.
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 1554  Average listal rating (953 ratings) 7.9  IMDB Rating 8.1
6. Before Sunrise (1995)
I should buy it on DVD. Every time it's on TV, I think I'll just watch two minutes and I end up watching it for half an hour; the dialogue is great, it never gets old.
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 3927  Average listal rating (2464 ratings) 7.9  IMDB Rating
7. Black Swan (2010)
I have seen it twice in theaters and I really need to see it again to know if it was really as good as I think it was.
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 3763  Average listal rating (2442 ratings) 8  IMDB Rating 8.2
8. Blade Runner (1982)
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 2011  Average listal rating (1211 ratings) 7.8  IMDB Rating 7.8
9. Blue Velvet (1986)
I can't say I liked this movie, but there's a few interesting elements and scenes which makes it worth watching again in my opinion.
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 2372  Average listal rating (1558 ratings) 6.7  IMDB Rating
10. Burn After Reading (2008)
Same as District 9, I thought it was okay but after I thought about it, I like it better. And Brad Pitt is just funny. And that part when George Clooney accidently kills Brad is hilarious
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 81  Average listal rating (48 ratings) 7.5  IMDB Rating 7.4
11. Café de Flore (2011)
Both stories featured in this film are so interesting and the way they are connected is just perfect. Should've been nominated for an Oscar. These bastards! They don't know what they missed.
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 2722  Average listal rating (1858 ratings) 7.5  IMDB Rating
12. District 9 (2009)
At first, I thought it was an okay movie but I've been thinking about the story and I realized it was really sad and pretty good.
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 5793  Average listal rating (3834 ratings) 7.2  IMDB Rating 7.9
13. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)
I just don't remember the story but I probably won't like it that much

People who added this item 3449  Average listal rating (2217 ratings) 8  IMDB Rating 8.4
14. Full Metal Jacket (1987)
I watched it once and loved it. And it's a war movie and since I have an unexplainable love for war movies, I really have to see it AGAIN
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 1963  Average listal rating (1192 ratings) 7.7  IMDB Rating 8.1
15. The Graduate (1967)
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 254  Average listal rating (135 ratings) 7.5  IMDB Rating 7.8
16. Joyeux Noel (2005)
I watched it only once at school in my history class and I enjoyed it very much so now I want to see while I'm comfortably sitting on my couch and not on a plastic chair with people talking all the time (because you know high school students can't shut their mouth)
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 473  Average listal rating (288 ratings) 5.7  IMDB Rating 5.9
17. The Indian in the Cupboard (1995)
I can't remember anything from this movie but it looks sad so I'll watch it when I'm not feeling so good

People who added this item 708  Average listal rating (403 ratings) 7.6  IMDB Rating 7.8
18. The King of Comedy (1982)
Once again, I watched this one on Youtube and I liked it a lot so I want to see it properly this time
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 1919  Average listal rating (1278 ratings) 7.2  IMDB Rating 7.8
19. Lucky Number Slevin (2006)
I didn't understand anything, it was frustrating. Honestly, the only reason I want to see it is because of Josh Hartnett (and I'm not talking about his acting skills - or non skills - here)

People who added this item 1352  Average listal rating (754 ratings) 7.4  IMDB Rating 7.1
20. Melancholia (2011)
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 4352  Average listal rating (3020 ratings) 6.9  IMDB Rating 7.7
21. Minority Report (2002)
I remember having fun watching this movie but it was a few years ago so I guess we'll see what I think of it now

People who added this item 1782  Average listal rating (1147 ratings) 7.9  IMDB Rating
22. Moon (2009)
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 1694  Average listal rating (1124 ratings) 6.8  IMDB Rating 7.1
23. Prometheus (2012)
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 683  Average listal rating (401 ratings) 6.3  IMDB Rating 6.6
24. Reality Bites (1994)
I always like a love story where the characters are in a love/hate situation. And I very much like Winona Ryder; she looks gorgeous, fragile, but somehow a little tough also.
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 859  Average listal rating (456 ratings) 8  IMDB Rating 7.8
25. Repulsion (1965)
I felt I could relate to the main character because of her loneliness and inability to connect with other human beings. But don't worry, I'm not about to kill anybody and if I do, I'll make sure to hide it better than that!
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 194  Average listal rating (115 ratings) 7  IMDB Rating 7.1
26. River's Edge (1986)
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 2523  Average listal rating (1661 ratings) 7.4  IMDB Rating 7.6
27. The Royal Tenenbaums (2001)
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 3490  Average listal rating (2162 ratings) 7.9  IMDB Rating 8.3
28. Scarface (1983)
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 5781  Average listal rating (3950 ratings) 8.2  IMDB Rating 8.6
29. The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
It played on TV but I just saw the ending sequence with the creepy music and it made me want to watch it for the third time.
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 957  Average listal rating (585 ratings) 7.6  IMDB Rating 7.6
30. The Skin I Live In (2011)
I watched this one for school and couldn't get it out of my mind for a few days, which is often a good sign. Also, I have started watching other films from Pedro Almodovar and I'm liking what I see, he definitely has his own style.
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 5339  Average listal rating (3592 ratings) 8  IMDB Rating 8.7
31. Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)
Just like any time is a good time for pie, I feel that any time is a good time to watch Star Wars (and I'm talking about both series, but mostly the original one).
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 1683  Average listal rating (942 ratings) 8.2  IMDB Rating 8.4
32. Once Upon a Time in America (1984)
Well...I love gangster movies and this one didn't disappoint. I love the whole concept of the older man looking back at his youth, and since that older man happens to be Robert DeNiro, it makes it that more awesome!
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 1988  Average listal rating (1273 ratings) 7.7  IMDB Rating
33. The Untouchables (1987)
I just loved this movie the first time I saw it, it reminded me how much older movies are simply awesome in terms of quality of the image.
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 551  Average listal rating (303 ratings) 7.4  IMDB Rating 7.7
34. Watership Down (1978)
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 953  Average listal rating (566 ratings) 7.5  IMDB Rating 7.5
35. We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011)
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 2414  Average listal rating (1615 ratings) 7.5  IMDB Rating 7.8
36. X-Men: First Class (2011)
My raimBow's rating:

It can wait...

People who added this item 4675  Average listal rating (3238 ratings) 7.2  IMDB Rating 7.8
37. 300 (2006)
I was disappointed but I'll give it another try

People who added this item 1177  Average listal rating (719 ratings) 5.5  IMDB Rating 5.6
38. The Blue Lagoon (1980)
I watched it with my friends and I couldn't stop laughing. It's ridiculous and the actors are bad but it's a great comedy
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 2809  Average listal rating (1747 ratings) 8.3  IMDB Rating 8.7
39. City of God (2002)
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 458  Average listal rating (268 ratings) 7.7  IMDB Rating
40. C.R.A.Z.Y. (2005)
I need to give this one a second chance. I watched it at school and didn't like it but as I said, I grew up and I might be able to enjoy it now
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 1944  Average listal rating (1218 ratings) 7.3  IMDB Rating
41. Dances with Wolves (1990)
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 2077  Average listal rating (1428 ratings) 7.8  IMDB Rating 7.8
42. Drive (2011)
This one reminded me very much of Taxi Driver. And please tell me in the comments if you agree because I haven't heard anybody make the comparison when it's so obvious in my mind! Both characters drive a car, they are quiet people who have their own sense of justice and fall for a girl they shouldn't.
Anyways...the whole atmosphere is absolutely great with the music, costumes and set design. As much as I love Tarantino's overuse of briliant dialogue, I found the «underuse» in Drive to be so refreshing because I personally am a quiet person.
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 5329  Average listal rating (3374 ratings) 8.7  IMDB Rating 9.2
43. The Godfather (1972)
I wasn't in the right mood when I watched it but I did appreciate Marlon Brando's performance very much
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 2248  Average listal rating (1300 ratings) 7.8  IMDB Rating
44. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)
I was very impressed when I saw this one in the theater, I just hope it doesn't disappoint the second time.
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 4652  Average listal rating (3086 ratings) 8.1  IMDB Rating 8.3
45. Inglourious Basterds (2009)
Brad Pitt + War + German speaking + Christoph Waltz performance + Tarantino + great dialogue = ME FUCKING HAPPY
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 5802  Average listal rating (3926 ratings) 7.6  IMDB Rating
46. Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004)
This is one of my favorites. I love the actors and I love Tarantino
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 819  Average listal rating (473 ratings) 6.8  IMDB Rating 7.2
47. Let Me In (2010)
I was surprisely charmed by this film, the visuals are very nice and the story pretty good too.
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 1494  Average listal rating (921 ratings) 8.5  IMDB Rating 8.7
48. Once Upon a Time in the West (1968)
I really didn't like it the first time, I was bored out of my mind and skipped a lot of parts but I think I'm now more patient and appreciative of films and art in general so I'll give it another try.
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 1295  Average listal rating (820 ratings) 7.9  IMDB Rating 8.1
49. The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012)
My raimBow's rating:

People who added this item 7407  Average listal rating (4772 ratings) 8.4  IMDB Rating
50. Pulp Fiction (1994)
I still have to watch it at least one more time to make sure I know what it was about. Seriously this movie is one big joke (but in a good way)
My raimBow's rating:

Films I want to rewatch for various reasons whether I liked them or not. My ratings will probably change for the movies I didn't like on the first watch.
