I do think this list is a bit pretentious and I don't agree with many of the placings (most notably Donnie Darko) but there are alot of movies I havn't seen on it; that I now intend to see.

is this listed in order, sort of a top50, or is it simply '50 films to see before you die'?

Its in order. I dont agree with it myself..but Film 4 are a law to themselves.

I dont know for the life of me. I really cant say that half of these films are 'must sees'.
