Jonathan Harker takes employment with Count Dracula, ostensibly to catalog his vast library. In fact, he is on a mission to kill the Count, a vampire. Before he can do so however, the Count gains the upper hand and Harker soon finds himself as one of the walking dead.

Dracula has taken an interest in Harker's fiancée, Lucy Holmwood and it is left to Harker's colleague, Dr. Van Helsing to protect her. He has difficulty convincing Lucy's brother, Arthur Holmwood, of the dangers or even the existence of vampires. Soon, however, Arthur's wife Mina is targeted by Count Dracula and he and Van Helsing race to find his lair before she is lost to them forever.

Twins of Evil (1971)

In nineteenth century middle-Europe, orphaned teenage twins Maria and Frieda go to live with their uncle Gustav Weil, who heads the Brotherhood, a vigilante group trying to stamp out vampirism. But their methods are random and misplaced and the only result is a terrorised populace.

The real threat lies with Count Karnstein and, although the twins seem outwardly to be identical, Frieda finds herself much more drawn than her sister to the Count's castle dominating the skyline.

my fav vampire movie is The Fearless Vampire Killer (1967) but for the # 2 it would be hard for me to choose.i've never saw Dracula (1974) from Dan Curtis even if The House Of Dark Shadows (1970) is one of my fav vampire movie.you will like the Bram Stocker's Dracula (1992) of F.F.Coppola it's one of the best i have it on dvd and i would suggest you The Kiss Of The Vampire (1963). great taste of vampire movies Kat : )

No Fright Night? It was cheesy but loved it anyways. The Fearless Vampire Killers has beautiful set designs. Dracula (1992), Gary Oldman is brilliant in that movie. Nice list tough!

a Vampire list without What We Do In The Shadows is incomplete...should also check out Fright Night and if you do foreign films Thirst and A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night
