Reykjavík based label that signed some of Icelands best bands
13th Planet Records
Al Jourgensen, the pioneer of industrial music, is still recording albums with his projects Ministry and RevCo and releasing them on his own label.
Now part of Beggars Group, itself a great indie label, it continues to release great music.
Founded by Chad Kroeger of Nickleback fame to promote bands from Western Canada. The artists range from rock to country to pop reflecting Chad's eclectic tastes.
This Warner Music Group-owned record label signed some of my favorite British synthpop groups.
A Different Drum
The biggest synthpop label in the United States.
A decent dubstep label out of Berlin.
Dr. Dre's label. You may of heard of it. Many of it's best artists including Busta Rhymes and the Game have left but the between Dre, Eminem and 50 Cent they manage to do OK. It's owned and distributed by Universal Music Group which is owned by a water company.
