2. Tori Amos

A great interpreter and song writer, an exotically beautiful woman, a strange personality. The complete package.

3. Kate Bush

For many people, Kate Bush is the "teacher" of Tori Amos. I find many similarities between these two interpreters and song writers and I can't really decide who is my "most" favorite.
In my opinion, there is something that makes Kate Bush differ. Her innovative mind, open to really interesting experimentations in her music.

4. Tracy Chapman

Another great song writer and an interpreter with a deep, out of the ordinary, voice. What can I write about her debut album back in 1988 and songs like Fast Car, For My Lover and Talkin' Bout A Revolution? I don't know, because words don't come easily but the feelings are many every time I listen to this album.

6. Lisa Gerrard

Her voice can send me to heaven and hell, make me want to climb a mountain and travel with my mind to places I have never seen in my life. Her voice and singing can make me break in tears to ease my soul or dance in ecstasy.

Red-haired, black-dressed. In medieval age, she would probably had some problems. Today, many people are fans of her music, lyrics of pure poetry and magical voice. I'm one of them.

I first listened to Céline at the Eurovision's Song Contest back in 1988. I loved her voice at once and I still do. I think though that she repeats herself by choosing simply nice songs.
