Of those I have only seen Heat and it's great but don't know why it isnt there. It should be in my favorite action movie list but yes, it is more crime than action.

I really like Raging Bull, The Deer Hunter, Pulp Fiction, 2001 and Dr Strangelove aswell. Schindlers List is also good. Taxi Driver also. I like the most here.

Awesome list. I had to pause when I realized a few of the "newer" ones are now about 20 years old now!
