@BadSmile, don't worry man. Your list is fine. Don't mind the grumpy people...
@mondo-video, I checked your article, not bad but I found at least 1 mistake. Jonathan Demme indeed directed a remake with Mark Wahlberg but it wasn't "The Italian Job", it was "The Truth about Charlie"... At least, in BadSmile's list, I don't see any mistakes, so, in the future, take it easy, allright ?
Here's his ranked top 10 for Cinema magazine for 1963 -
I Vitelloni (Federico Fellini, 1953)
Wild Strawberries (Ingmar Bergman, 1958)
Citizen Kane (Orson Welles, 1941)
The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (John Huston, 1948)
City Lights (Charles Chaplin, 1931)
Henry V (Laurence Olivier, 1945)
La Notte (Michelangelo Antonioni, 1961)
The Bank Dick (W.C. Fields, 1940)
Roxie Hart (William Wellman, 1942)
Hell’s Angels (Howard Hughes, 1930)
