The Rum Diary: A Novel - Hunter S. Thompson
It's beautiful (in its very own way), that's what I have to say, simply.

I don't know what others would think; not all that much goes on; it's not quite like other Thompson's books... Simple, meaningful, personal turns global, it's completely quotable and I just adored it.

Smoke and Mirrors - Neil Gaiman
"Funny, scary and perverse by turns... a class act and a rich and exciting read" ~ Time Out

Some of the shorts are also included in other Gaiman's compilations for children, while others could never be. Every story is great and unique.
There are those really fantasy-like that you begin devouring and really getting into it and stuff, or those that are straight-up weird, and there are those that you're calmly reading, not much is going on (mind you, it's never boring), and then, you hit that sentence or read that last paragraph and go: F....!
Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's spooky or creepy, twisted or fantastic, but what it is at all times, is brilliant.

Like I said here: drawing, mesmerizing, appealing, mysterious... Great.

Good Omens - Neil Gaiman,Terry Pratchett
It's quite funny! Interesting, amusing, and a light reading.
Neil Gaiman's fantastic storytelling and Terry Pratchett's humour match up perfectly in this very interesting take on the Apocalypse.

"Pratchett's wackiness collaborates with Gaiman's morbid humor; the result is a humanist delight to be savored and reread again and again" :)

Totally recommend it to anyone.

Neverwhere - Neil Gaiman
Interesting... Very compelling and I won't quite forget that magical universe.

"light" too, suitable for the young adult fantasy section - but don't undermine it, 'cause it's really something, and it does get fucked up.

I'm not very good at these "favourite" things.
I don't know..... I don't like just listing them all. There are more that I liked, of course. ...
For now, here's a few... These probably got here being from the two writers that seem to have managed to become my top favourites.
