Famitsu - Japan's 100 Favorite Games

28 8.5  Dragon Warrior III was originally released on the Famicom before the enhanced remake on the SNES and Game Boy Color. 
57 7.8  Dragon Quest V was originally released on the Super Famicom and was remade in 3d for the PS2 (someone made an English fan translation). Mr. Saturn's rating:

The coming installment is my "favorite," it's closest to my ideal view of what Final Fantasy should be. Do you remember Xevious? It’s two-layered and I really wanted to create that at the time. So to see Link To The Past in two layers would be quite attractive for me (Edge). 
30 7.4   DQVI was originally released on the Super Famicom. When you find a monster terrorizing a village you'll find out it's an optional recruit able character Amos. Do not tell him if you don't want him to hide forever. Talk to the old woman in the inn about curing him. 
183 8.8  Earthbound carts cost about $100. Earthbound will probably not be re-released because of legal issues. I highly recommend this Mother trilogy guide. Mr. Saturn's rating:

There is nothing unethical about fan translating games that have no hope of being localized. What would be unethical is making a profit off of the translation patch.

Personally, I'm all for translating games companies refuse to localize, but many people would still have problems with that.

I like the list even though I hadn't play much of this games. Only one thing: Final Fantasy X is very good but Final Fantasy VII is the best! Wonderful story, awesome locations, epic characters, Materia, Chcobos breeding, a lot of mini-in-games, weapons. There's something more to say?? :)
