Eli Roth, the worst director in the world, is delusional (and cocky, too). Hostel should be rated G compared to the shit on this list.

Hostel sucked big time. I did like Cabin Fever though. The only movie I saw on this list is Funny Games and that is as intense a movie as I ever want to watch. I have heard that Salo and The Guinea Pig movies are really harsh. I don't think I have the guts to watch them.

Alabama I would scratch off "Cannibal" from your list as well... I sat through Salo. I had to turn off Cannibal. Loved the idea... but my god there really is only so much I can take LOL

rofl, Eli Roth is such a wannabe it's not even funny. I could maybe see him in the role of a producer, but definitely not a director or writer.

Hostel's biggest problem is that they tried to push it as this big, nasty movie and never bothered to clue in to the fact that studio films can never, ever go as far as what's required to really deliver that kind of experience.

Don't forget Cannibal Holocaust, btw :D

yeah, Eli is a good producer. But that and cameos is the only talent he's got. 2001 Maniacs is an excellent flick, it would not been funny if Eli directed it.

He should not make horror movies because they suck, like the movies by Rob Zombie. They are both talentless.....!

I don't see what all the hate on Eli Roth comes from. Sure he is no Wes Craven or Argento.. but Hostel is one of the most sickening movies I've seen (next to August Underground's Mordum), and it kept me on the edge of my seat.
