Any movie in which a dog features as a main character...I have a theory that there are more dog movies than cat and horse together!!

NB: There seems to be a direct correlation between a 'Dog Movie' and a 'Shit Movie'...with very few exceptions.

four suggestions:
you're missing the original, animated 101 dalmatians! that was my FAVOURITE movie as a kid. i'm talking obsessive, want to watch it every day love. so much better than the live-action version.

a chihuahua features prominently in legally blonde 2 (elle woods gets a congress job to try to change animal cruelty legislation after finding out her chihuahua's mom was in an animal testing facility) but it's probably not central enough for inclusion on this list. besides, it's one of the worst movies i've ever seen, and i've seen some BAD movies.

amores perros is dog-related, also. it's set in mexico, and the stories revolve around humans' relationships with dogs, but not in a happy-with-my-pooch kind of way, more of a life-is-insanely-cruel kind of way.

the thin man - nick and nora's dog asta plays a very prominent role.

Thanks, I'll add the last two I already have the orginal Dalamtions, its listed alphabetically, so its under 'O' for 'One-Hundred' as it is spelt, rather that in numbers like the others.
