718 6.4 6.9 Based on the story Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs, and is the only major motion picture version of the story Tarzan property to be animated. It was also the last "bona fide" hit. The renaissance swan song.

The Disney Renaissance (1989 - 1999) was an era when the Walt Disney Animation began making successful animated films based on fairy tales just like it's early years. It spawned amazing revenue and aclaim for the studio and this period holds a modest amount of my own and others favourite films My Disney Lists
