Director of Point Break, The Hurt Locker, and Zero Dark Thirty. I think she would be awesome for a Stand Alone Star Wars movie. Maybe a bounty hunter, or Hutt movie?

Definitely the youngest of the group, but also very talented. He is a fantastic filmmaker only having 2 films under his helm he would lend to the franchise very well. After seeing Creed and seeing how much he know how to build worlds and make even the city feel like a character. I think he would be perfect for a new film in the new trilogy.

The Director of The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Soon to be War for the Planet of the apes, Cloverfield, he also is very good at expanding worlds. I could see him do like a Darth Bane or Darth Revan Anthology movie.

Hands down one of my favorite directors working in the business today. He directed Moon (one of my fav movies of all time), Source Code, and what looks amazing at first glance the New Warcraft movie. He understands how to build worlds on camera, and is a very visual director. I'd like to see him do a Star Wars Old Republic movie set 1000 years before The Phantom Menace.

Now I know that Tomorrowland wasn't amazing, but he has quite a track record. The Incredibles, The Iron Giant, Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol (Arguably the best). He was already in talks to direct Episode VII but turned it down for Tomorrowland. Maybe next time it comes along?

I think that he would be perfect for another Franchise because he's proven himself with Iron Man, and what looks to be promising (The Jungle Book). I think that he is a great visual director and would bring something fresh to the franchise!

This is a list comprised of Directors that I think could lend their hand and also further their story telling techniques to make this awesome franchise even more awesome.
