1. Land of the Lost (2009)
Tomatometer score: 26%

I didn't really hate this film because after seeing Blades Of Glory and Semi-Pro I found it refreshing to see a Will Ferrell film I enjoyed.

2. Be Kind Rewind (2008)

I know some people didn't like this film, but I'm not sure why. I thought the way the re-made the films were funny and it was also creative. If you haven't seen it then I'd give it a chance.

It may not have the same charm as the original it is still a bit enjoyable and way better than its sequels. (Only seen Home Alone 4.)

11. Garfield (2004)

I loved the comic and I thought the movie was alright. Sure it had burping in it, but Garfield did it in the comics so I find it acceptable. In other words: The adaption wasn't bad.

12. Alvin and the Chipmunks (2007)

I thought this film was OK. I thought it was somewhat faithful to the cartoon, but if you want a real Alvin and the Chipmunks movie then I would recommend A Chipmunk Adventure.

14. Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003)

15. Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999)

16. Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002)
Tomatometer score: 55%

Sure it has lame pop stars like Brittney Spears and Beyonce, but it's still an Austin Powers film and after this film Mike Myers's films started to go downhill. (Excluding Shrek 2.)

17. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)

Doesn't have the same magic as the original, but still a fun remake. It can't beat that creepy tunnel scene and you can't replace Gene Wilder!!!

18. The Polar Express (2004)
Tomatometer score: 58%

This film is one of those films I find underappreciated. I have to give Robert Zemeckis credit for making a short book into a feature length film.

19. The Nutty Professor (1996)
Audience score: 50%

I watched this movie and I thought it was hilarious. I don't understand why the critics like it, but the audience doesn't. I don't even understand why it has a negative rating on here.

20. The Bucket List (2007)

I can't understand why the critics didn't like this film. It was funny and it was emotional. Again don't listen to the critics on this one.

21. Transformers (2007)
Tomatometer score: 57%

I was never a fan of Transformers cartoons, so I didn't see the movie when it came out. Then one day I decided to watch it and I enjoyed it. It's defiantly not a masterpiece, but it's still enjoyable.

People who added this item 349  Average listal rating (245 ratings) 6.3  IMDB Rating 6.6
22. See No Evil, Hear No Evil (1989)
Tomatometer: 18%

I think 18% is a little harsh. I thought Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor were funny in this movie. I think the rating should be at least a bit higher than 18%.
moviewatcher122's rating:

Films that didn't get good reviews from critics or audience, but I still liked.

I don't pay much (any actually) attention to rottentomatoes, but I agree with you on several of these that they're better than the ratings would lead you to believe. LOVE Be Kind Rewind, Robin Hood, Charlie, and See No Evil, Hear No Evil...and I dug Home Alone, Bucket List, Uncle Buck, and Hancock.

Nothing was wrong with I, Robot (which is one of my top 20 fav films ever) and Transformers was okay. Rush Hour 2 & 3 weren't bad, Goldmember was decent, but Alvin and the Chipmunks were BAD. Haven;t seen all the others.

Totally agree with you on Looney Tunes and Transformers.

I Robot & Charlie and the Chocolate Factory are pretty good movies. But others are bad. :c

Im sooo with you! Except with the whole Charlie and the Chocolate Factory thing, I just couldn't get into its weirdness, neither funny or thrilling

How can people not like Uncle Buck or Home Alone? They are classics!
I also love Transformers and I, Robot. Guilty pleasures.
And Goldmember is the best in the Austin Powers movies.

I totally agree with you on that Will Ferrell thing. You expect his movies to be as similar to Blades of Glory or Step Brothers but some are just so bland.

You should never use Rotten Tomatoes (or IMBD) to rate movies. Everyone is intitled to thier own opinions, I for one don't like any of these movies one bit, except for Uncle Buck and Home Alone, those are two I quite enjoyed, but I wouldn't worry about rating sites. I've bought albums, that critics absolutely hated and I thought the records were gold.

I don't agree with all of these, but you did a nice job summarizing what you liked about each. Nice list.
