Devil May Cry - The Would-Be Movie

  I enjoyed the movie Thor a lot more than I expected. Chris was able to be cocky, arrogant, awesome and powerful all in one character. Sounds kind of like Dante to me, though choosing a Dante was by far the hardest so I'm open to suggestions. Sabin Kenobi's rating:
 
7.5 Vergil
  Another tough choice, impossible really. Vergil has to be kind of secretive and yet a total badass at the same time. Chris's roles in Fantastic Four and Captain America show he can be awesome but I think he could pull off the pure cockiness that Vergil does. Again, suggestions could be welcome.   Do I really need to explain this one? Alice is hot, so is Trish, end of story. Sabin Kenobi's rating:
 
7.1 Lucia
  I didn't really care for Lucia's character, heck I didn't even finish DMC2. Personally if they did make a movie I would hope it's based on DMC3, but I wanted to cover all characters. Famke was awesome as Jean Grey/Phoenix in X-Men, plus they have similar looks. Sabin Kenobi's rating:
7.3 Lady
  Lady is a total badass, handles all types of guns with pinpoint accuracy (Hey Dante, HEADSHOT! Haha), and is attractive to boot. Oh, and all that applies to Summer as well. Sabin Kenobi's rating:
7 Nero
  Nero was an interesting character, many didn't like him simply because they wanted to be Dante instead. While I'll say I like Dante more, Nero was not a bad character, in fact he was great! Logan was awesome in The Lightning Thief and showed that he can do action films, he's a younger actor, and I think he and Nero have a similar look. Sabin Kenobi's rating:
7.6 Mundus
  Even if he just did the voice it would still be cool, but he could totally act the part of Mundus and prove yet again to be a total badass. Sabin Kenobi's rating:
7.5 Arkham
  Bill playing Victor in the Underworld movies always creeps me out. Just as Arkham does, but he wouldn't be a good Jester and since they are very different characters I don't think it would matter if there were two actors... Sabin Kenobi's rating:
7.7 Jester
  So Jim has to be Jester. The comedian who never fails to make me laugh and is just a little bit manic, he's perfect. Sabin Kenobi's rating:
7.1 Kyrie
  Emmy has the voice and the hotness to make Kyrie even cooler than she was in the game. Sabin Kenobi's rating:
7.7 Sanctus
  I absolutely loved Geoffrey as Barbossa in the Pirates movies, best character in that series. He can be one heck of a bad guy, and Sanctus was one messed up bad dude. Sabin Kenobi's rating:
7.9 Credo
  I really liked Credo, I thought he was a pretty cool guy; regal and obedient to the very end. I especially liked Liam as a Jedi (duh) and think Qui-Gon and Credo have a lot in common. Sabin Kenobi's rating:
7.9 Agnus
  Hugh can be a 'bear' of a crazy man, just see him as Wolverine. Agnus was a weird character but maybe Hugh could bring some more craziness to him. Sabin Kenobi's rating:
 
7.8 Patty
  Patty is only from the anime of DMC, which they most likely, if ever, would not use in a movie. However I wanted to cover all bases, and personally I liked the anime. Everything I've seen Chloe in has been better because she is there. She's an amazing childhood actress who will soon be too old for this part so they better hurry up, haha. Sabin Kenobi's rating:
7.5 Morrison
  Morrison is a businessman and sort of Dante's accountant (though Dante has no money, just lots of debt). Jay was a hilarious and fun businessman in Better Off Ted, so he would be the perfect fit. Sabin Kenobi's rating:
6.6 Sid
  Seth is a short, weird, crazy little guy with an amazing knack for talent. Sid is a short, weird, crazy little demon so if the shoe fits, wear it. Sabin Kenobi's rating:

I do really wonder if the movie will ever actually materialize, if it does however I can totally see Chris Hemsworth as Dante. As long as someone like Zach Efron doesn't get the role.

Sure you can, Dante is buffed up like Chris and Vergil is a sissy like Chris Evans in Captain America pre-super serum. Plus, I hate when people play multiple parts in one movie, it makes it very one-sided and bland because underneath the acting, it's still the same guy. There, problem solved. But thanks for the comment anyway :)
