A great story

There is nothing more wonderful than to get entangled in a film that relies mostly in a good storyline, no matter the genre or where its based on, to the point of you not being capable to stop thinking about it. I'm only naming a few.

Good comedy

No matter what kind of comedy, as long as it is good comedy.

Bigger than life achievements

It's fantastic how some films make us live the most epic adventures.

Visual conundrum

Some films have shots that are truly magnificent, but also, complete giveaways to an underlying plot. These are compositions usually made by the director, and they can exist throughout the entire film, or within mere seconds.

Creative use of editing

Editing is cinema's grand feature. With it one is capable of the utmost wide array of efects, making the audiences believe what the director/editor wants them to believe.

These are some of the things that I love about cinema.

Check out what I hate about cinema: Cinema & Its Bullshit.

This is great, why isn't it as popular as the "cinema and its bullshit" list? You have really great movies here and lots that I want to watch now. Excellent taste sir!

Superb list. You've outlined several aspects as to why I love cinema and you've chosen great examples. :)
