The Channel Awesome Crew
Fraser Agar is the creator, director and editor of "Awesome Video Games," a show about two gamers who review old NES games. The show began on YouTube in 2006 and later joined ScrewAttack Entertainment. AVG and ScrewAttack separated in March of 2007. Fraser joined ThatGuyWithTheGlasses in 2010 as a featured video contributor. His other show, Video Games Awesome takes a look at more current games.
http://thatguywiththeglasses.wikia.com/wiki/Fraser Hailing from Canterbury, England, Yousif's addiction to gaming started with Sonic the Hedgehog on the Megadrive. Later, he went on to run an independent games store for 2 years before settling down into the journalistic side of gaming. He has a huge background knowledge in gaming through-out the years means "if you name it, I’ve played it." Fave Genres (In Order): Adventure, RPG, 1st and 3rd person shooters,
He is a XBox/PS3 reviews editor at Blistered Thumbs. http://thatguywiththeglasses.wikia.com/wiki/Yousif_Alshaker Fool Fantastic was to date the youngest contributor on TGWTG.com. He was an article writer writing a series where he tried to understand why certain games and movies are considered the best by some people. He considered it a hall of fame of sorts. He also did movie reviews where he illustrates a traditional view of movies.
His views on movies seem to agree with sites like rottentomatoes and IMDb, etc. He usually agrees with the general consensus. However, his opinions on games are far from average. His favorites are games such as: Rollercoaster Tycoon and Phoenix Wright. He detests games like Halo. So, naturally, he makes a lot of people angry with his views on games. Before finding the site, he discovered the 5 Second Movies on Youtube and eventually found TGWTG through GameFAQs. After watching The Nostalgia Critic, he decided to post in the blogs and was picked up after talking to CEO Mike Michaud. He became a featured talent on October 19th, 2009. By September 16th, 2010, he started his own show called Marvelous Movies. By March 2011, Ames left the website. http://thatguywiththeglasses.wikia.com/wiki/Fool_Fantastic Noah Antwiler as Tandem the Spoony - Noah is the terrifying result of a generation raised on MTV and films by Jean-Claude van Damme and Steven Seagal at the height of their popularity. lordhebe aka Christopher Barnard is one of the moderators at TGWTG.com. He is also one of the producers of Film Brain's show, Bad Movie Beatdown. Chris discovered the site through Film Brain when he watched The Nostalgia Critic review of "Street Fighter: The Movie". After seeing the review, he felt compelled to join the site once he saw ThatGuyWithTheGlasses's other works. At that point, Chris and Lewis (another member of the BMB team) were talking about the possibility of our own online review show, and soon Mathew came on board.
The show would be "like the Nostalgia Critic, only there's three of us and we review anything!". When TGWTG.com launched, Chris immediately converted over there. As this was happening, they were still trying to get the 'BadMovieGang' off the ground, and even posted a review of Indy 4 on YouTube. By this point, Mat had already become a prominent blogger on the site, and caught the attention of Mike Michaud and Rob Walker. After Film Brain was picked up, he helped behind the scenes with several of his 5 Second Movies, particularly 'Total Recall' and 'Leatherheads'. When the forums were in their early infancy, he helped with the testing phase, including the suggestion of a 'Films' board. When the board was in need of more moderators, he was made one, along with LordVanQuack (Rollo T). Then, when Bad Movie Beatdown finally emerged, after the original format being scrapped, he took a role as frequent editor, and occasional co-writer. He also frequently guest stars on the show as Professor Celluloid. http://thatguywiththeglasses.wikia.com/wiki/Lordhebe LittleKuriboh popularized the trend of abridging anime with Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series, the first comedy fandub to use "the abridged series" as a subtitle. LittleKuriboh also helps with Dragonball Z Abridged, voicing these characters: -Narrator. -Freeza. Currently, he is a News and Culture Editor at Blistered Thumbs. http://thatguywiththeglasses.wikia.com/wiki/Eli_C Benzaie has been one of the early video contributors to the site when the admins were looking for new shows to feature. His show, Games You Might Don't Know made it to the main site in August 2008. This show is "a fast paced and wacky introduction to a game that most people don't know about." Other shows from Benzaie came out later on: Game Soundtracks You Might Don't Know, (a video tribute to some of his favorite video game soundtracks), FAQ YOU (short videos giving away tips for a particular game each time), 5 Second Games (the gaming equivalent to 5 Second Movies) and Benzaie's TOP 5 (random subjects). Benzaie also contributed to TGWTG's podcast "Transmission Awesome" where he interviews various guests in his segment "Benzaie Interviews". GSYMDK is also co-hosted with a small white bear named Beary.
Several times, Benzaie has parodied fellow ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com contributors. In "retaliation" to That Dude In the Suede parodying him, Benzaie returned the favor in his review of the video game Wiz N' Liz. He parodied That Dude in the Suede by wearing a jacket, sporting a bad New Zealand accent and doing a similar title intro. Later, in his video of the top 5 "WTF" moments from The Lord of the Rings, he ended the video with a parody of Riz Raves, emulating the black-and-white and fuzzy camera and asking the viewers a question. He also parodied Doug Walker's character, Chester A. Bum in his review of Magical Drop 3 and in the same video, directly quoted That Guy With The Glasses's opening line. A friend of Doug Walker's from college, Bhargav made his first on-screen appearance in the Captain Planet review playing Ma-ti, the South American teenager of the main heroes on the show. After letting it slip that he is of Indian heritage, raising the Nostalgia Critic's suspicions, he punches him in the face shouting "Heart!" and running off. His most note-worthy appearances have been as a clinical psychologist in the Lori Prince Live videos and as a dirty-minded on-looker of the muddy girl-fight in the Mortal Kombat: Annihilation review.

Mike "The Birdman" Dodd is the producer of the show, This Week In Geek. He started up his show while at Niagara College in Ontario, Canada in 2007. There, he was asked by podcaster Steve "Snowball" from G4 Tech TV's "Call For Help" to do a radio show on CRNC 90.1 FM, the New Heat and he was looking for a co host he had called This Week In Geek. This Week in Geek (also know as TWiG) was featured as April 2nd's Nugget from the Net on G4TV.com's The Feed. Since then, the link to TWiG's website has been added to the Friends of the Feed sidebar on the G4 website. One time, I saw him curse in the presence of a nun.
Dodd began volunteering at Rogers television Channel 53 in Owen Sound, Ontario as an audio director and technical director and eventually moved up to technical director for mobile operations such as City Council meetings and OHL Hockey broadcasts. He made the decision to go to Niagara college to choose to specialize in television production specifically in studio productions but eventually decide on a career in radio after several on air shifts for CRNC 90.1 FM as part of his first year Broadcasting. Dodd chose to go into radio & television presentation as his specialization in college because it gave him the chance to be in front of the camera rather then behind and work on his presentation skills for radio as well. Mike also goes by the name "Captain Awesome" on Game Heroes. Originally Mike did his Niagara college broadcasting Internship with The Game Heroes and as part of his work there, he voiced over several of the classic video game reviews. http://thatguywiththeglasses.wikia.com/wiki/Mike_Dodd ThatChickWithTheGoggles started out as a candidate for the position of "Nostalgia Chick". This title eventually went to Lindsey Ellis, but Goggles was allowed to stay on the site as a contributor on Blistered Thumbs. Her contributions have been low as she had been focused with school. However, she has cameoed in the Year Two event, Kickassia, and in comments she stated that she will return.

http://thatguywiththeglasses.wikia.com/wiki/Travis_Excelsior Over the summer of 2008, the The Nostalgia Critic put out a search for a female counterpart. After the contest was over, it turned out that counterpart would be none other than Lindsay Ellis a.k.a. TheDudette a.k.a. The Nostalgia Chick. Several episodes have been produced by TheDudette.
The show itself is much like that of her male counterpart. The only difference? She reviews the shows and movies targeted to female audiences since Doug had never watched them growing up. In fact, that was how the search for the Nostalgia Chick began. In August of 2008, Doug got tired of getting requests for shows he never saw since he is a guy. So, a contest was held to find the Nostalgia Chick. Lindsay won and in no time at all, the series began. After a few episodes, her BFF Nella became a fixture of the show itself. Nella is often Lindsay's beleaguered best friend, often appearing in videos alongside her friend. As the Nostalgia Chick, Lindsay also teamed with Doug to review "Ferngully: The Last Rainforest" and in the Year One brawl, which celebrated TGWTG.com's first birthday, as well as the Kickassia crossover. http://thatguywiththeglasses.wikia.com/wiki/The_Nostalgia_Chick Michael M's rating:

He, Bhargav and Michaud all shared the executive duties regarding the site. The idea for it strangely enough came from a chance talk in the store, "Circuit City". His duties have been to oversee the company's day to day activities while the others on the staff tend to other tasks at hand. http://thatguywiththeglasses.wikia.com/wiki/Rooney_Enterprises Psychotaku's journey to TGWTG started with the Super Sentai crossover episode with JewWario. Fun fact: He and JewWario decided to become import reviewers at at about the same time. However, both just took different paths. JewWario went directly to TGWTG.com while Mark decided to try his luck with the Screwattack MyVidsDon'tSuck Contest. After placing second, he decided to continue to produce videos on the import games that he grew up on.
He didn't want to trap myself with just games and wanted to do a Super Sentai review. He felt that the subject matter was a bit large for one reviewer to handle so he decided to contact JewWario. Mark had seen his videos and thoroughly enjoyed them. He sent him a script and he was more than happy to help out. After he had finished the episode I showed JewWario. He was so pleased with the video he put it up on TGWTG. In the following months they collaborated on several videos and JewWario has been the driving force which ultimately earned him a spot on TGWTG. http://thatguywiththeglasses.wikia.com/wiki/Psychotaku Handsome Tom, (Thomas Hanley, Jr), is the owner and proprietor of The Game Heroes. Many are the rumors that surround the Last Angry Geek.
Some say he builds furniture and orders office supplies for a living. Some say he's an aspiring comic bookwriter whose dreams of fame were crushed by his bosses' financial incompetence. Some say he is a ring announcer for a Chicago based pro-wrestling company. Still others say he lives in the sewers, periodically emerging to buy copies of GOLD DIGGER & The WALKING DEAD, all the while bitching about SPIDER-MAN: ONE MORE DAY. What is known is that the L.A.G. goes by the name Brian Heinz and has been writing for ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com since shortly after its launch. Some say this is due to an unholy pact he made with The Other Guy while they riffed a particularly bad episode of the anime, BLEACH. He is also the co-writer and co-performer of TGWTG's first Rifftrax, which was for "The Lion King." He does a particularly regrettable James Earl Jones impression. Following , Brian, Rob and Doug were nominated as one of the best new Iriffs in a contest. They won and were hired to do a Rifftrax Presents title for BATMAN FOREVER. Jim Carrey still haunts Brian's nightmares. On September 2nd, 2009, The Last Angry Geek showed himself on camera and started an E! True Hollywood Story style show called True Internet Story. In it, he provides a fictitious background for internet celebrities. Later that month, he started a comic review show called Comic Book Issues. http://thatguywiththeglasses.wikia.com/wiki/The_Last_Angry_Geek Vangelus is a Euro-Asian fellow who lives on the west coast of Canada. He was known around Youtube, a few spots of the Transformers fandom, and the forums of TGWTG.com as a toy reviewer. On the 56th edition of Transmission Awesome, it was revealed that he was going to be one of the newest producers and will bring with him his exciting and informative toy review series.
His online media hobby began when he was inspired to try creating digital music by his good friend DJ Enigma (AKA Hydrophidian) during a 90-day vacation in Japan in late 2007. Later encouraged by his friends King Laffo and Facecaptain, he tried working in the video medium. He's now in possession of an HD camcorder and is trying to teach himself the Final Cut Pro software suite. http://thatguywiththeglasses.wikia.com/wiki/Vangelus Nella aka BFF Nella aka Antonella Inserra is the beleaguered best friend of The Nostalgia Chick. She was the former college roommate of Lindsay's during their freshmen and sophomore year. Nella first appeared in the flesh in Lindsay's videos during the "Top 11 Disturbing and Inescapable ChristmasSongs" video where she was beaten up by fellow "Team Nostalgia Chick" member, Brian. Since then, she had become Lindsay's punching bag/dance partner. Sometimes, when Nella and Lindsay are in different states, Lindsay makes her contribute to videos through a camera she installed in Nella's room to spy on her.
http://thatguywiththeglasses.wikia.com/wiki/Nella Rap Critic was introduced to TGWTG.com by a close friend named Tim. He told him about The Nostalgia Critic and just the description of the show alone was inherently funny to him, so he asked him to show him a few episodes before the Year One event. Afterward, he started thinking about making his own show about his favorite topic: Rap Music.
He picked this field because he would always rate the songs he listened to and sometimes would wonder how some rappers said silly or out-of-place lines and hardly anyone would say anything about them, because people would tell him that they only cared about the chorus and the beat. The first song that inspired him to do the show was "My President is Black" mostly due to the chorus, which was why the chorus analysis takes up almost half of the episode. The first episode he wrote, though, was the Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre one, because he wanted to go after a song that would get people's attention. For the first year of the show, it was really hard to make episodes. The first one was made with a camera from his old school, which explains why that episode has the grainiest quality to it. Rap Critic tried to edit the episodes at school during the beginning of summer, but, he never got to finish the episode because he figured he wouldn't be able to do it for the rest of the summer. Soon after, he started editing episodes at the college where his mom works at. http://thatguywiththeglasses.wikia.com/wiki/Rap_Critic Michael M's rating:
Mike J is a sexy beast and is the creator of Shameful Sequels. Before that came about, Mike used to post blogs on TGWTG.com as a sock puppet named "The Sock". In this persona, he had a gruff voice and reviewed many different things such as movies and shows like "Denver the Last Dinosaur".
After ditching the persona and losing to Bennett The Sage in the first Best of Blogs contest, he reinvented himself as a reviewer of bad sequels. This earned him many Best of Blogs and a spot on the site. As for the sock? Well, eventually the sock puppet has shown up in several videos. Notably the Ask That Guy With the Glasses contest and various episodes of his show. http://thatguywiththeglasses.wikia.com/wiki/MikeJ Brad Jones is the creator of the The Cinema Snob and The Bruno Mattei shows, which were popular on Youtube for a long time. After some time had passed, he got booted off YouTube because of complaints received from people involved with "Nail Gun Massacre,", What he called "easily the worst slasher film of the 1980s." Spoony got in touch with him and, along with offering to show some Brad's videos on his site, suggested that instead of going through the appeals process on YouTube to just starting his own website. The thus a site was created! Eventually YouTube did turn his account back on. However, he just uses it as a promotional tool to show clips of the movie he talks about.
Now that he has his own site, he wants to come up with some more original shows, which is something he wanted to do back in the YouTube days, but never did. Being huge fan of old big box vhs', he and his friends started doing "The Big Box," which talks about the Big Box companies and the movies as if it were kind of an infomercial. His love for exploitation films led him to produce several exploitation films: "Midnight Heat", "Cheap", "Freak Out" and "Game Boys". "Freak Out" and "Cheap", and "Game Boys" can be found on his website and the trailers for the rest of the movies can be also found there. Brad also produces a podcast called "Radiodrome" where he and his friend Jerrid Foiles talk about diverse exploitation-related subjects in an informal way. On the fifth episode of Radiodrome they "celebrated" the podcast's first year anniversary, despite only having five episodes. On the same episode, he said that producing Radiodrome episodes is really simple and relatively easy to edit, but always forgets to record new episodes. http://thatguywiththeglasses.wikia.com/wiki/Brad_Jones Michael M's rating:
