Released: January 13th 1992 Would I have been happy with it? I don't really know. I was 7 years old and just started listening to music. Probably too boring.

Released: June 2nd 1993 Would I have been happy with it? "Hey, hey hey hey, hey heyhey, I said hey - what's going on?" should be okay for a barely-english-speaking 8-year-old boy.

Released: February 2nd 1996 Would I have been happy with it? Actually I remember listening to "Ready or Not" on the radion and MTV and really liking it. So yeah, it would have been a nice birthday gift.

Released: July 27th 1998 Would I have been happy with it? I listened a lot to compilation albums at the time. The artists of the soundtrack seem to be good too. So (although I haven't seen the movie) this present would have made sense.

Released: July 30th 2001 Would I have been happy with it? Until recently I have never been into electronic music and a CD full of chillout tracks could have been too much to bare for me in 2001. Maybe I would have listened to the most popular tracks.

Released: July 26th 2004 Would I have been happy with it? Maybe their music isn't that bad. Maybe they are no fascists (any more). But I still associate the Onkelz only with nazis and brain-dead idiots in lowered Opels. I would not have been pleased. But luckily there wasn't anyone who sent me this present.

Released: September 28th 2004 Would I have been happy with it? I remember other people listening to "La camisa negra". I never did. I think I was quite indifferent about it. To have it as a birthday present? I guess I could think of better things...

As I was living in Sweden at that time Released: August 22nd 2008 Would I have been happy with it? I bought it myself. Slipknot are often dismissed as a lowbrow band because of their costumes. But there's more about them and I like it. Corey Taylor's voice is awesome, too. schwarzerabt's rating:

Released: September 8th 2008 Would I have been happy with it? Oh, the tragedy! Michael Jackson died! I have to admit, he was a great entertainer and I certainly was a fan in younger years. But I have developed a dislike of these "Best of.." albums in general and the post-mortem glorification of Micheal Jackson in particular.

I have other Iron Maiden albums and would be happy if someone decided to give me this one as a present. Anyone? It's been just a few days ago... |
