Angel (1999)
The ending of Angel was no joke: Cordelia was dead, Fred was overtaken by Illyria, Wesley was dead, and Lorne went his own way after killing Lindsay. Then, just as Angel, Illyria, Gunn, and Spike are overrun by demons and dragons, etc. in an alley, all fans see is Angel swinging his sword toward the screen as it fades to black.

Las Vegas (2003)

It was rumored that Delinda and her husband Danny would have a cameo on "Knight Rider" to reveal the outcome of the jeopardized pregnancy, but that show was canceled, too. A bigger cliffhanger was when, during the funeral for casino owner A.J. Cooper, who died in a plane crash, Cooper actually strolls in and reveals he isn't dead.

Check out River (the horror one with Joe Anderson) and Persons Unknown. Revolution I believe left on a cliffhanger.
