This scene involves many kind of clever details like paintings and all moves those characters makes. One of the best scenes De Palma has ever created.

Every character is interesting: Woman played by great Angie Dickinson is sensual and feminine character and also her intelligent son plays major part in plot. Michael Caine is good as always and very charismatic.

Carrie is a story about bullied girl who gets supernatural powers when having her first period. Carrie doesn't need anymore to accept humiliation from her extreme religious mother and she can do also many other things with her new powers. But as great as her powers are they cannot give her love and peace which are necessary for every human being.

The way this bullied girl finally gets mad and starts her revenge is really fascinating. In spite of supernatural elements topic of bullying is nowadays current topic.
