1. Marley & Eu: A Vida E O Amor Ao Lado Do Pior... - John Grogan

Everything about this book caught my attention... First of all, I love animals, but I love dogs the most. When I started reading Marley & Me, I immediately fell in love with Marley, and how messy and crazy he was! I had some good laughs with this book, but I cried my eyes out too! I don't remember ever crying that much while reading. It's such a beautiful story...

2. PS, I Love You - Cecelia Ahern

Usually you cry at the end, or you have to at least get to the middle of the story to start crying. Not with PS, I Love you. I started crying as soon as I started reading it! It's just so sad to read about her love and her loss...

3. A Menina Que Roubava Livros - Markus Zusak

The Book Thief - Such an amazing book! I though it would be boring, but it was great! I liked all the characters, and I loved the fact that Death was telling the story! Not something you see everyday... Anyway, I totally recommend this book, and I doubt that you won't fall in love with Rudy!

The Kite Runner - I have no words to describe this one. Absolutely amazing! Beautiful story, beautiful characters... I guess you won't really like it unless you like sad stories.

5. Depois Daquela Viagem - Valeria Piassa Polizzi

This book tells the real story of a girl who has aids, and how she goes through life trying to live with it, trying to hide it from her friends because maybe they won't accept her anymore... It's a great story! And what makes it even more special is knowing that there are people in the world who go through that every single day, while others don't even care.

6. The Shack - William P. Young

I have to say, I didn't really like this book, but there are some parts of it that are very good and that made me cry.

All I have to say here is: read it!

I know Harry Potter isn't really the kind of book you cry about... but this one was sad because Sirius died and I really liked him!

This is a sad book from the very beginning. You can't help feeling sorry for all of them, and for the country (Afghanistan). Really makes you see life through a new perspective.
