If you are an audiobook guy the readings of both those series are incredible. James Marsters (from Buffy) reads the dresden series and Mark Vidor (sp?) reads the Nightside series both throw in Scott Brick and you have the 3 best readers I've ever come across.
I can't say that I cared for the Stackhouse vamp books. I read the first three (I received them as a gift in a collected book) and stopped there. I much prefer the Anita Blake series by Hamilton.
