Possible addition:
The Invention of Lying.
Very funny and enjoyable movie but when Ricky Gervais is reading the rules to everyone (the most pivotal scene in the movie), he reads it on a Pizza Hut box - it is terribly distracting and in our face for more than ten minutes. It was the worst blatant advert I've seen since Transformers or Castaway.

I agree with a lot of these choices, but I'm afraid you missed the point of the advertising in Josie and the Pussycats. It was in your face and over the top for comedic effect, it was all to make a point.
