WTF PLOT/ENDING:
You have to be willing to accept the WTF moments, because if you don't you missed the whole point and will most likely hate it. Each of the 3 acts increases in WTF value till the end will either have you nodding in approval of a truly unique idea, or cursing it because you think it's "dumb". The whole concept behind the movie is a bold move, so enjoy it for its nobility to try something new. cryo's rating:
WTF ENDING:
When a dirty-virus-laden-bomb is detonated in LA, the character decisions will have you questioning what you would do in that situation. The unique situation the film establishes, sets up a great WTF ending. Watch this movie with your significant-other to see if it will last, if the conversation you have after viewing ends in "WTF, really?" good luck. cryo's rating:
WTF ENDING:
It was in front of you the whole time and you didn't even know it. The moment you realize whats going on is almost the same moment Bruce Willis' character puts it together. Not only is the main character of the film experiencing an ultimate WTF moment, the audience is right there with him. Quick cuts to evidence that was throughout the film reveal what was really going on. The second time around you're wondering why you didn't see it before, because it fits almost perfectly. cryo's rating:
WTF ENDING:
Upfront we are given a movie that has no setup for any sort of surprise ending. I mean it's about guys beating the sh!t out of each other, male bonding and some other stuff. What could happen right? An ending that was so well done, that every other movie that tries it looks retarded (I'm talking to you Secret Window!). cryo's rating:
WTF PLOT/ENDING:
When a drunken man is kidnapped on his way home for his daughters birthday he didn't know he would be held captive for 15+ years! What would YOU do when you got out? Thats right have sex and KICK SOME ASS! But you have been gone for a long time be prepared to face WTF's all around. cryo's rating:
WTF PLOT:
Time Travel is a difficult subject for movies. If there was ONE movie that did it right it would be primer. And because its so well done its full of WTF moments. Primer was not only written by a former mathematician and engineer with only $7,000, it doesn't dumb ANYTHING down. Once the time travel starts even if you're paying attention you'll still be WTF'ing your way to the end. The WTF value still remains after multiple viewings. cryo's rating:
WTF PLOT:
In order to control an increase in unruly children. Japan apparently partakes in field trips that involve you killing your entire high school class! And you thought that our high school years were tough. This film isn't quite banned in America but the subject matter isn't exactly causing people to jump on it and rush it to DVD in the states. That alone is worthy of a WTF. cryo's rating:
WTF PLOT:
Before she was putting babies up for adoption Ellen Page was giving a potential pedophile/sexual predator a day he wouldn't soon forget. This takes "To catch a Predator" and shows Chris Hansen how its done. Everything in this movie is a WTF moment. But most of all the sheer fact this young girl devised a plan that was so near flawless, and executed it with surgical precision (pun intended). cryo's rating:
WTF MOMENT:
As our protagonist Jim navigates the deserted London streets, he finds himself in a church. As he searches disturbs a zombie. It sits straight up in the middle of the pews and stares at Jim. No rage, no attack, just stares at him. WTF? cryo's rating:
WTF MOMENT:
Presented with the Cohen brothers dark sense of humor we are delivered one of the most rediclous deaths ever. Brad Pitt is hiding in a closet, George Clooney while cleaning up grabs his gun to put away. As he opens the closet door we see Brad's stupid looking smile for one second before a startled George shoots him in the f**king face. He had no clue he was there or who he was. You couldn't help but laugh hard at the scene thinking "WTF?" WTF MOMENT:
As our team of Hollywood jerk offs are dumped into the jungle, the director of the film tells them its all fake and to just play along. Just then he steps on a land mine and is reduced to a fine mist of blood, body parts and a decapitated head (which is then tossed around like a prop by our stars). Don't worry it was all fake... wasn't it? Hold on, did he just die!? WTF? WTF MOMENT:
As we are introduced to the first character in Cube, we watch him as he tries to figure out where he is. He checks the hatches located on all 6 sides of the cube shaped room and picks one. A moment of hesitation as he walks across the new cube. In an instant he flinches as a loud mechanical 'woosh' breaks the silence. For a moment he looks fine, standing in the middle of the cube. Soon grid lines of blood form on his body and he crumbles into small cubes in a pile of gore on the floor. As you take in the scene in its glory all you can say is "WTF". soon your question is answered as a razor-wire grid rotates down into view and folds back up into the ceiling. What... the... f**k cryo's rating:
WTF MOMENT:
Loud air raid siren whales as our main characters flee to safety inside a church. Oh noes! Someone fell behind! At that moment PyramidHead grabs the poor soul by the neck and rips her clothes off in one quick swipe. Then with equal effort, he grabs the skin on her chest and skins her alive! F**king brutal. That kind of brutality left most people in laughter over the "WTF? Did he just rip her skin off!" cryo's rating:
WTF MOMENT:
Most people imagine being abducted by aliens involving a beam of light and slowly ascending into the sky. Not the people behind the Forgotten. In an action so unnatural and so sudden every time you see it makes you go WTF. People get ripped the f**k into the sky to such a degree you can't imagine they survived the journey. It also happens in such a way that you aren't really expecting it so when it does happen, it's like a happy surprise. cryo's rating:
WTF MOMENT:
you know the one, when that B!tch steps out into the street and gets flattened by the bus. One of those moments that you're WTFing so hard you have to laugh. In fact that they had to re-edit the move to include a longer shot with no dialog after that scene because sreener audiences were so pumped up and laughing they missed the scene after it. cryo's rating:
