I highly recommend Valkyria Chronicles and more reservedly recommend Lost Odyssey. My favorite WRPGs include the Mass Effect trilogy, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, Dragon Age: Origins, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

RPGs are my favorite kind of video game, though I don't play nearly as much of them as I'd like. I enjoyed the Fallout series, and Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth. I'd recommend Arcanum for the PC, if you haven't played it before. It's pretty cheap on http://www.gog.com/ only six dollars.
