I can't wait to see which other names you'll add to this list, but I can tell you that, of the 7 you've got so far, 3 will be on my list as well. I hope you get a chance to see Michael Shannon's work in Take Shelter.

I agree about George Clooney - The movie was up and down, but his performance was magnificent -
and the most amazing thing about Andy Serkis' performance is that even after two viewings there wasn't a moment in the movie where I could tell a human was playing Caeser - Flabbergasting special effects.
