100. Zeitgeist (2007)

#100

It's far less showy than, say, a Michael Moore conspiracy doc. This is a fact I like, along with the movie taking us back to the root of all our issues.
However, some of the facts I cross checked weren't entirely accurate leading me to believe this is still manipulative.
Another however, it's difficult to argue against so much footage and actual facts supporting the corrupt world we live in.
And I'm all for the ending theme of "Love over Power".

99. I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With (2006)
Garland is pretty funny in this unique indie film about finding someone to love.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 424  Average listal rating (229 ratings) 6.5  IMDB Rating 6.8
98. Rendition (2007)
An average modern war film with underwhelming performances by a great cast.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 124  Average listal rating (51 ratings) 6.9  IMDB Rating 7.3
97. The 11th Hour (2007)
Much better than "An Inconvenient Truth" in the fact that it doesn't insult your intelligence and it inspires the audience to do better for Earth, not just piss us off.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 197  Average listal rating (121 ratings) 6.4  IMDB Rating 6.9
96. Eagle vs Shark (2007)
A very low budget and charming New Zealand film with Jemaine Clement, from "Flight of the Conchords"
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1599  Average listal rating (1059 ratings) 6.5  IMDB Rating 6.9
95. Disturbia (2007)
Enjoyable for what it is, an updated version of Hitchcock's "Rear Window".

Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 660  Average listal rating (379 ratings) 7.1  IMDB Rating 7.6
94. The Kite Runner (2007)
A well-made but too-depressing film.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1835  Average listal rating (1113 ratings) 6.8  IMDB Rating
93. P.S. I Love You (2007)
Post Script; good to watch with your lady.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 276  Average listal rating (177 ratings) 6.2  IMDB Rating 6.5
92. The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep (2007)
A sweet little Scottish family film that doesn't wow you at any point; but makes you care for a huge sea creature nonetheless.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 876  Average listal rating (560 ratings) 6.8  IMDB Rating 7.4
91. Death at a Funeral (2007)
A slap-stick British movie with a mediocre cast of characters.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 473  Average listal rating (245 ratings) 7.6  IMDB Rating 7.6
90. Lust, Caution (2007)
A beautiful film with an average love story
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1073  Average listal rating (660 ratings) 5.6  IMDB Rating 6.1
89. Rush Hour 3 (2007)
Least best of the three. Still has some funny lines and good action.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1141  Average listal rating (800 ratings) 6.7  IMDB Rating 7.2
88. Shooter (2007)
Whalberg turns in his usual meager performance but Kate Mara makes up for it and the film actually delivers a few surprises and maintained my interest.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 253  Average listal rating (149 ratings) 5.9  IMDB Rating
87. Margot at the Wedding (2007)
Baumbach writing mixed with his usual directing of unusual performances.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 54  Average listal rating (27 ratings) 6.5  IMDB Rating 7.2
86. My Kid Could Paint That (2007)
A comical story about what most of us think when we're in modern art galleries. Because they started filming early on in the family's career, it made it interesting not knowing where they were going with the doc.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 540  Average listal rating (343 ratings) 6.5  IMDB Rating 7.1
85. The Kingdom (2007)
Decent modern war story; but too generic to really hold my interest enough to see it ever again.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 56  Average listal rating (31 ratings) 6.3  IMDB Rating 6.7
84. The TV Set (2006)
Duchovny is great in this flat film about TV shows making it on the air.

Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 699  Average listal rating (425 ratings) 6.7  IMDB Rating 6.9
83. Meet the Robinsons (2007)
Surprisingly good. A few twists and turns and average CG animation.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 725  Average listal rating (443 ratings) 6.5  IMDB Rating 7.1
82. Black Snake Moan (2006)
A strange film that made me feel dirty; but still good quality and Jackson does great in this music-centered role.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 576  Average listal rating (360 ratings) 7.2  IMDB Rating 7.5
81. Freedom Writers (2007)
Nothing too wildly original in this film that found Swank stuck in a poorly written script; but still comes out looking good.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 461  Average listal rating (255 ratings) 6.7  IMDB Rating 6.9
80. 2 Days in Paris (2007)
A lot of interesting dialogue with two actors I really like, along with creative storytelling. However I think it could have worked better as a 20 minute short, not an entire movie
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 148  Average listal rating (81 ratings) 6  IMDB Rating 6.2
79. Color Me Kubrick (2005)
Malkovich has a blast with this role but I kind of lost interest half way through after seeing him pull the same stuff over and over.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 402  Average listal rating (217 ratings) 7.3  IMDB Rating 7.6
78. The Wind That Shakes the Barley (2006)
A sad but well-made Irish War film.

Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 948  Average listal rating (527 ratings) 6.6  IMDB Rating 6.9
77. Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007)
Even slower paced than first. Owen adds some interesting scenes, and of course the story is good and Cate will always be amazing.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1645  Average listal rating (1024 ratings) 6.1  IMDB Rating 6.5
76. National Treasure: Book of Secrets (2007)
Nick Cage finds things and then more things and throws in some smart ass humor and then finds more things until he finds what he really wants.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1372  Average listal rating (875 ratings) 5.7  IMDB Rating 6.1
75. I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry (2007)
Middle of the pack for Sandler and his gang. Funny cameos and it actually does a good job of NOT making fun of gays.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 335  Average listal rating (212 ratings) 6.9  IMDB Rating 7.1
74. Breach (2007)
Cool story, interesting pace, and a bit of a thinker.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1550  Average listal rating (956 ratings) 6.9  IMDB Rating 7.4
73. The Bucket List (2007)
Two great actors in a decent film about getting it done before you kick it.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 3054  Average listal rating (1829 ratings) 5.9  IMDB Rating
72. Shrek the Third (2007)
Rather disappointing after the comedic success of the second one but still able to illicit some laughs.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 920  Average listal rating (492 ratings) 7.4  IMDB Rating 7.7
71. La Vie en Rose (2007)
Beautiful performance by Cotillard; but the story didn't interest me as much as the singing.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1519  Average listal rating (908 ratings) 6.3  IMDB Rating 6.6
70. Music and Lyrics (2007)
Pop goes my heart!
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 4713  Average listal rating (2979 ratings) 7.2  IMDB Rating 7.4
69. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)
Pretty decent new leg to the saga
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 510  Average listal rating (298 ratings) 6.6  IMDB Rating 7.1
68. The Lookout (2007)
A stoic thriller with a breakout performance by Levitt
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 300  Average listal rating (159 ratings) 6.5  IMDB Rating 6.7
67. King of California (2007)
It's refreshing to see Douglas back in a likable role and movie and Evan Rachel Wood has gotten my attention this year with this movie and "Across the Universe"
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 783  Average listal rating (494 ratings) 6.8  IMDB Rating 7.4
66. Mr. Brooks (2007)
A wild role for Costner, possibly his best non-sports role I've seen since 'Wolves'. The ending of the film was awesome if it ended when it should have. If they stuck with the scene I'm referring to then this film could have made the top 50.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1822  Average listal rating (1164 ratings) 5.8  IMDB Rating 6.1
65. The Golden Compass (2007)
Solid cinematography and the greatest polar bear fight caught on film.

Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 955  Average listal rating (576 ratings) 7  IMDB Rating 7.6
64. August Rush (2007)
Great music, a bit hokey, but good clean fun
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 9  Average listal rating (6 ratings) 5.7  IMDB Rating 7.3
63. Manda Bala
A wild documentary that will have you scared to ever visit Sau Paulo
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 68  Average listal rating (37 ratings) 6.6  IMDB Rating 7.4
62. Talk to Me (2007)
A fun look at a crazy DJ during the Civil Rights movement of the 60s. Cheadle is awesome, as usual.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 355  Average listal rating (211 ratings) 7  IMDB Rating 7.2
61. The Savages (2007)
Solid script and fun performances in this indie comedy.

Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 2015  Average listal rating (1242 ratings) 6.6  IMDB Rating 7.2

59. Control (2007)
Love... love will tear us apart.

And it did.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 4551  Average listal rating (3169 ratings) 7.2  IMDB Rating 7.8

Excellent fight scenes and one gorgeous Lena Headey
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 166  Average listal rating (114 ratings) 6.6  IMDB Rating 6.8
57. Seraphim Falls (2006)
A bear bones adventure with two grounded performances from Neeson and Brosnan

Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 124  Average listal rating (74 ratings) 7.1  IMDB Rating 7.6
56. The Namesake (2006)
Kal Penn should do more films like this. Come on, Kal - "Epic Movie" films or "The Namesake" films, make the right choice.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1402  Average listal rating (812 ratings) 6.2  IMDB Rating 6.9
55. Hairspray (2007)
A great cast with pretty likable music and an okay storyline.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 95  Average listal rating (29 ratings) 6.8  IMDB Rating 7.2
54. Confessions of a Superhero (2007)
Another noteworthy documentary from 07. They were able to capture some awesome interviews and find some cooky real-life characters. I wanted to keep following them after the credits rolled.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 828  Average listal rating (536 ratings) 6.7  IMDB Rating 7.2
53. Fracture (2007)
It's been a while since I've seen Hopkins in a good flick and Gosling is on a roll.

Great job for putting 'Into the Wild' at number 1. That movie should of won Best Picture at the Oscars.
