People who added this item 1021  Average listal rating (645 ratings) 5.4  IMDB Rating 5.6
100. Poseidon (2006)

#100

Some cool VFX scenes, Fergie, Johnny Drama, the actor formerly known as Richard Dreyfuss, and a big ass wave.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 948  Average listal rating (575 ratings) 5.2  IMDB Rating 5.6
99. Failure to Launch (2006)
Failure to entertain
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 23  Average listal rating (18 ratings) 7.2  IMDB Rating 7.3
98. Scott Walker: 30 Century Man (2006)
Someone who makes music to fall asleep to
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 163  Average listal rating (81 ratings) 6  IMDB Rating 6.6
97. Lonesome Jim (2005)
A poorly executed film with average performances of characters who frustrate more than intrigue.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 149  Average listal rating (78 ratings) 6.3  IMDB Rating 6.7
96. Sherrybaby (2006)
Maggie Gyllenhaal does a decent job in this boring, unoriginal story filled with unlikable characters. I did, however, like the ending.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1698  Average listal rating (1091 ratings) 6.4  IMDB Rating 6.8
95. Over The Hedge (2006)
Just because they use computer graphics and celebrity voices doesn't mean it's good.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1199  Average listal rating (778 ratings) 6.9  IMDB Rating 7.5
94. Clerks II (2006)
I wasn't wild about the first Clerks, but I was still upset with how different and less funny the second one was.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 377  Average listal rating (197 ratings) 6.9  IMDB Rating 7.5
93. This Film Is Not Yet Rated (2006)
This film is now rated average.
An interesting concept for a documentary but the filmmakers were lacking style and clean edits.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 3093  Average listal rating (1949 ratings) 6.6  IMDB Rating 6.9
92. Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006)
I thought the first one was a cheap attempt at family entertainment with a few laughs and this one is worse. Once again, the funniest character is Scrat
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 740  Average listal rating (458 ratings) 6.2  IMDB Rating 7.1
91. Jackass: Number Two (2006)
I thought maybe they would pump up the gags even more in the second one, but it seemed like the same old mildly entertaining shock and awe attempts.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1268  Average listal rating (747 ratings) 6.5  IMDB Rating 6.7
90. Scoop (2006)
Scarlett has never been less sexy but I enjoyed the Woody Allen wit.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 380  Average listal rating (211 ratings) 7.2  IMDB Rating 7.5
89. Jesus Camp (2006)
One of the scariest films of the year.

Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 79  Average listal rating (52 ratings) 5.7  IMDB Rating 6.4
88. The Amateurs (2005)
I can't help but like Bridges in anything he does. This is a cheaply made movie that had average results. Its outcome should have been more impressive with such an ensemble cast.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1099  Average listal rating (731 ratings) 6.5  IMDB Rating 7.2
87. Rocky Balboa (2006)
It's better than the catastrophe of Rocky V; but nothing special and barely worth the effort.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 356  Average listal rating (222 ratings) 5.7  IMDB Rating 5.9
86. School for Scoundrels (2006)
Dumb and dimwitted, but created a few laughs and I liked the Ben Stiller cameo. This is Todd Phillips' only miss so far.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 44  Average listal rating (26 ratings) 7.5  IMDB Rating 7.8
85. Neil Young: Heart of Gold (2006)
Nothing too special about the doc, but of course the music is fantastic.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 82  Average listal rating (44 ratings) 6.7  IMDB Rating 7.3
84. The Aura (2005)
Love, murder and taxidermy
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 4  Average listal rating (3 ratings) 6.3  IMDB Rating 7.3
83. Just for Kicks (2005)
A documentary about the rise of the sneaker industry.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 137  Average listal rating (58 ratings) 6.6  IMDB Rating 6.6
82. Bubble (2005)
Wow, this is a difficult movie to critique. I think Soderbergh is so cool, with his experimentations. Here he enlisted non-actors for all the roles, using very little scripted dialogue.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1424  Average listal rating (958 ratings) 5.1  IMDB Rating 5.6
81. Snakes on a Plane (2006)
Not a deceiving title at all. The film is entertaining because of its ridiculousness.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 127  Average listal rating (88 ratings) 7.3  IMDB Rating 7.1
80. OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies (2006)
Oh Berenice!

Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 982  Average listal rating (647 ratings) 5.8  IMDB Rating 6.5
79. Idiocracy (2006)
The film Wall-E copied, with much less stellar results.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 299  Average listal rating (179 ratings) 6.3  IMDB Rating 6.8
78. A Prairie Home Companion (2006)
Sadly this is Altman's final film; but still an enjoyable one with some decent songs sung by good actors.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 2149  Average listal rating (1298 ratings) 6.6  IMDB Rating 6.4
77. Marie Antoinette (2006)
I thought this was going to more of a modern/hip take on the story, with the way the cool trailer previewed it. I found it to be rather dull in the end.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 4020  Average listal rating (2576 ratings) 6.7  IMDB Rating 6.8
76. The Devil Wears Prada (2006)
This film will make you fall in love with Anne Hathaway and Emilie Blunt, will solidify that granite of a career of Meryl Streep, and make you realize Adrian Grenier will probably not have a career outside of "Entourage" for awhile.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1540  Average listal rating (876 ratings) 6.7  IMDB Rating 7.1
75. A Scanner Darkly (2006)
A disappointing follow-up to the similar "Waking Life". I felt the actors' talents weren't used properly.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 190  Average listal rating (74 ratings) 6.9  IMDB Rating 7.1
74. Conversations with Other Women (2005)
The editing helps keep this film interesting as we are literally watching one conversation with one woman nearly the entire film. The dialogue could have been so much better with such a clever idea.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 392  Average listal rating (244 ratings) 6.4  IMDB Rating
73. Harsh Times (2005)
A frustrating movie that's tough to get into, considering how unlikable the leads are.
A different type of role for Bale that never seems to be put to good use.
But it is pretty bad ass
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 88  Average listal rating (56 ratings) 6.8  IMDB Rating
72. Bon Cop, Bad Cop (2006)
Bon film.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 411  Average listal rating (274 ratings) 5.1  IMDB Rating 5.6
71. The Benchwarmers (2006)
A great no-need-to-think comedy.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1776  Average listal rating (1140 ratings) 6.5  IMDB Rating
70. Deja Vu (2006)
I feel like I've seen this Tony Scott film before.

Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 42  Average listal rating (19 ratings) 7.3  IMDB Rating
69. God Grew Tired of Us (2006)
Documenting the unfortunate lives Sudani boys looking for a better life in the US
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1570  Average listal rating (908 ratings) 7.5  IMDB Rating 7.6
68. Volver (2006)
Cruz is sexy as usual, but the pace was a little slow.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 155  Average listal rating (92 ratings) 6.2  IMDB Rating 6.6
67. Factotum (2005)
Matt is a likable asshole in this non-empathetic story of a an unorthodox factotum.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1015  Average listal rating (607 ratings) 6.6  IMDB Rating 7.1
66. Flags of Our Fathers (2006)
Probably my least favorite WWII film made in modern cinema era, but still decent.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 947  Average listal rating (637 ratings) 5.6  IMDB Rating
65. Miami Vice (2006)
Besides Phil Collins (modernized) and its setting, this is nothing like the TV show. But damn these guys are cool.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 210  Average listal rating (95 ratings) 6.9  IMDB Rating 6.8
64. Copying Beethoven (2006)
Diane Krueger is beautiful and the opera scene is one of the best of the year.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 61  Average listal rating (33 ratings) 7.2  IMDB Rating 7.4
63. Wordplay (2006)
I love crosswords, so naturally this was entertaining.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 844  Average listal rating (504 ratings) 7.2  IMDB Rating 7.5
62. Notes on a Scandal (2006)
Two acting masters head off in this unusual film about unusual relationships.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 2074  Average listal rating (1338 ratings) 7.2  IMDB Rating 7.7
61. Stranger Than Fiction (2006)
A little venue for Ferrell, and a great supporting cast make this quarky dramedy worth a look.

Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 996  Average listal rating (647 ratings) 5.3  IMDB Rating 5.7
60. Nacho Libre (2006)
Jared Hess's follow-up to 'Napoleon Dyamite' was less than stellar; but Jack Black can certainly entertain under any circumstance. His two musical numbers are what put this into the top 50.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 188  Average listal rating (91 ratings) 6.7  IMDB Rating 7.7
59. Who Killed the Electric Car? (2006)
This film will get you pissed off with how simple of an idea the Electric Car is and how we're wasting so much money and ruining air quality by not producing them.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1319  Average listal rating (749 ratings) 5.5  IMDB Rating 5.6
58. The Black Dahlia (2006)
Cinematography at its noir best. Hartnett was also tolerable in this film, too.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 2204  Average listal rating (1437 ratings) 6.1  IMDB Rating 6.8
57. Mission: Impossible 3 (2006)
a little better than the second thanks to PS Hoffman and Keri Russell
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 77  Average listal rating (38 ratings) 6.2  IMDB Rating 5.8
56. Stoned (2005)
The wild months leading up to Brian Jones' death are entertaining indeed.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 815  Average listal rating (476 ratings) 7.1  IMDB Rating 7.5
55. The Painted Veil (2006)
Such a beautiful film. Like 'The Fountain', I could watch it over and over; but the story was just too negative all the way through until the end when I didn't care enough about the characters to feel differently.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1164  Average listal rating (727 ratings) 6.4  IMDB Rating 6.7
54. Monster House (2006)
The first film I saw in 3D and it was fun family entertainment. A good set of voice talent and an interesting enough storyline.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 463  Average listal rating (300 ratings) 7.6  IMDB Rating 7.5
53. The Proposition (2005)
An Australian Western. The opening scene is great but it begins to drag by the third act.

Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 3390  Average listal rating (2195 ratings) 6  IMDB Rating 6.4
52. Night at the Museum (2006)
This was a fun movie with a good cast throughout. I hear they are making a second one with an even bigger cast, including Amy Adams and Jonah Hill.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 325  Average listal rating (171 ratings) 5.7  IMDB Rating 6.1
51. The Good German (2006)
With such a great cast and concept this should have an amazing film; but somehow it failed to ignite enough interest and I pushed myself to watch the entire thing. I rank it this high because of Blanchett's acting and the direction from Soderbergh.

Stehako's rating:

In the opinion of Stephen H Koontz

A come-back year after a disappointing 2005 and warm-up year for a stellar 2007.
