A movie Don Mclean would be proud of and one that made sex cool and funny again, like "Fast Times..." did nearly 20 years earlier.
Stehako's rating:
The best spoof sequel ever. The original is tough to top and this one nearly did that.
Stehako's rating:
The perfect movie about the office place. I am looking forward to more Mike Judge movies.
Stehako's rating:
Revolutionary in every way... except acting - that took a step back.
Stehako's rating:
Another sequel daring to be better than it's predecessor. Bigger, smarter, and funnier.
Stehako's rating:
This movie released at the perfect time and its content is fittingly better than its small-screen origins. Stone and Parker took full advantage of the silver-screen possibilities.
Stehako's rating:
Possibly Jim Carrey's best all-around performance, time will tell.
Stehako's rating:
The best out-of-control movie since 'Natural Born Killers'
Stehako's rating:
Best boxing movie since 'Raging Bull' and one of Denzel's best performances.
Stehako's rating:
Wildly original and weird. Spike Jonze is amazing with MTV videos and he now proves he can do amazing work with full-length features as well.
Stehako's rating:
A Star Wars movie that can't even make the top ten for the year? That's disappointing. The visuals were awesome and the final fight scene is already iconic but besides Liam Neeson the acting is bad, the script isn't any better and the casting of young Anakin is an inexcusable blunder, along with the decision to give Jar Jar Binks more than one line.
Stehako's rating:
The Farrellys have done it again in this drug-lovin', low-key film about growing mature in a world of immaturity. Alec Baldwin finally gets a solid role again.
Stehako's rating:
This is all Roberts and Grant do, but together they make one of the better romantic comedies of the decade.
Stehako's rating:
One of the best casts ever created and some great stories all mixed into one fantastic idea. Raining frogs sealed its spot at #14.
Stehako's rating:
The music helps make this idealistic, football-crazed high school movie enjoyable. It's good fun.
Stehako's rating:
Dark and slow-moving doesn't describe a typical Tom Hanks movie; but as usual he pulls it off along with the rest of the cast in this emotional Stephen King adaptation.
Stehako's rating:
Mendes creates an insane world that may be all to real for many suburbanites. I think most people can relate at least one story going on here.
Stehako's rating:
Similar to Brosnan's Bond roles but possibly even better. I found it to be more entertaining than any of those, plus Russo gets topless - didn't see that coming, AND anything with Dennis Leary is going to be gold.
Stehako's rating:
The Web campaign is what brought many to the screenings; but the movie still lived up to its hype. It's realism will be tough to ever beat.
Stehako's rating:
DeNiro shows his funny side in sort of a mockery role from his past films. Crystal is his usual entertaining self.
Stehako's rating:
Another funny mob movie, its characters aren't quite as good; but Grant is as charming as usual.
Stehako's rating:
Kevin Smith's best film. It's smart, dark, and hilarious.
Stehako's rating:
Damon shows his twisted side in this well-cast film set in the beautiful Italian landscape.
Stehako's rating:
Great performances by Pacino and Crowe. I'd like to see them paired again.
Stehako's rating:
A hilarious low-budget film that's like the Evil Dead 2 for a new generation.
Stehako's rating:
This film might open my eyes to more German filmmaking. It was an entertaining feast.
Stehako's rating:
Indiana Jones wannabe but still quite entertaining.
Stehako's rating:
The best Sleepy Hollow story since Mickey Mouse's portrayal of Ichabod Crane.
Stehako's rating:
An improvement over 'Waterboy' but I'm still waiting for Sandler to get genuinely funny again.
Stehako's rating:
A silly film that actually has a little heart in it.
Stehako's rating:
Unfortunately my least favorite Kubrik film is his last; but he's one of the best and this is still a very interesting film.
Stehako's rating:
I never thought I'd want to collect guns. Now, I'm kind of into them...
Stehako's rating:
A pretty good film that probably only needs to be watched once.
Stehako's rating:
Catherine Zeta-Jones is my new love. Now THAT is how you're supposed to avoid lasers!
Stehako's rating:
Gibson is great in his balls-to-the-wall role that makes you want to root for the bad guy, like the poster says.
Stehako's rating:
The best hockey movie since Mighty Ducks - I'm not sure there have been many others; but it's still a lot of fun, and once again makes me want to move to Alaska.
Stehako's rating:
The sexiest movie without nudity I've ever seen. It's one big tease; but good entertainment.
Stehako's rating:
Visually awesome and a unique script. A film that will probably raise in rank upon a second viewing.
A fun teen movie that's pretty good compared to a lot of the crap that's come out the last couple of years. Ledger doesn't look at a like a high schooler; but Gorden-Levitt equals it out.
Stehako's rating:
A fun low-budget Australian comedy that asks for its DVD to be taken 'straight to the billiard room!'
Stehako's rating:
A very unique story about a musician who's lived his life entirely aboard a ship.
Disney has been going downhill slowly the past few years but I have never come close to putting a Disney film this far down the list.
Stehako's rating:
A lower-class version of 'Truman Show' but still a realistic possibility.
Stehako's rating:
A strange film that somehow makes you laugh at the world we live in by the end.
Stehako's rating:
A cool idea for a film, and it works. It's a little sappy; but hey, it's always sappy with Costner.
Stehako's rating:
A pretty good on-creen duo with Murphy and Lawrence; but I was hoping for more.
Stehako's rating:
Mark Borchardt inspires us all to make better films.
Stehako's rating:
What the hell has happened to James Bond? Brosnan is still great but the story and women and gadgets and action have all gone downhill.
Stehako's rating:
A film enjoyable enough to watch until the end when you can watch one of the best boxing fights I've seen on film. You need to see this.
