People who added this item 2928  Average listal rating (1952 ratings) 6.9  IMDB Rating 7.8
1. Jurassic Park (1993)
The most amazing film event of my childhood and it still wows to this day. It's too bad that had to spoil the fun with two more films.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 279  Average listal rating (176 ratings) 6.7  IMDB Rating 7.4
2. The Sandlot (1993)
My favorite sports film of all time. The friendships, the summer vignettes, the music, and of course the baseball were all marvelous.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1179  Average listal rating (819 ratings) 7.3  IMDB Rating 8.1
3. Groundhog Day (1993)
The greatest "What if..." movie of all time. Murray is at his best in this well-written and directed comedy.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 145  Average listal rating (83 ratings) 6.7  IMDB Rating 7.3
4. Rudy (1993)
Among my favorite sports films, this is a truly inspiring story for anyone.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 522  Average listal rating (355 ratings) 5.8  IMDB Rating 5.8
5. Wayne's World 2 (1993)
Not as great but nearly just as funny as the first. I wish they made a third.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1776  Average listal rating (1142 ratings) 8.3  IMDB Rating 8.9
6. Schindler's List (1993)
Wow, Spielberg had his best year with this and 'Park' really showing his versatility brilliantly.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 768  Average listal rating (540 ratings) 7  IMDB Rating 7.8
7. The Fugitive (1993)
Ford really climbed out of his Indy shell for this film that was better than the TV show and one of Tommy Lee Jones' best roles.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 479  Average listal rating (333 ratings) 6.1  IMDB Rating 6.5
8. Cool Runnings (1993)
A damn good year for sports films! Candy's last role and basically the only memorable role for anyone else. "Feel the rhythm, feel the ride..."
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 362  Average listal rating (234 ratings) 7.2  IMDB Rating 7.9
9. Carlito's Way (1993)
A brilliant and under-appreciated film and role for Pacino. It has all the bad-assness of 'Scarface' and has the quality of story found in 'Serpico'.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 429  Average listal rating (241 ratings) 7.2  IMDB Rating 7.6
10. Dazed and Confused (1993)
Great night of teenage boredom filled with damn good music and a fun young cast.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 306  Average listal rating (206 ratings) 7.4  IMDB Rating 7.7
11. Tombstone (1993)
A horrible day of western angst filled with damn good acting and a well-oiled cast.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 746  Average listal rating (463 ratings) 6  IMDB Rating 6.6
12. Sleepless in Seattle (1993)
The second of three movies featuring my favorite actor and actress (at the time).
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 704  Average listal rating (444 ratings) 7.3  IMDB Rating 7.6
13. Philadelphia (1993)
Very strong performances from two very strong actors who have proven to this day they belong among the best.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 410  Average listal rating (261 ratings) 6.3  IMDB Rating 6.7
14. The Firm (1993)
A liked the porn film "The Firmest" a little more; but Cruise hands in a durable performance in the worthy adaptation.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 771  Average listal rating (487 ratings) 5.1  IMDB Rating 5.4
15. Free Willy (1993)
Not a movie I'd go see if it came out today; but I probably watched it 12, 13 times the year it came out on video. It was such a cool movie and it strengthened my love for the northwest and Madsen even more.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1825  Average listal rating (1307 ratings) 6.4  IMDB Rating 6.6
16. Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)
One of Williams' funniest performance, the "Tootsie" of the 90s was a fun spectacle although hokey throughout.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 298  Average listal rating (171 ratings) 6.1  IMDB Rating 6.6
17. Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1993)
A film that deserves more credit than it gets. People came out in masses to see three live animals in the wilderness for 90 minutes and we were entertained throughout.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 792  Average listal rating (474 ratings) 7.4  IMDB Rating 7.8
18. What's Eating Gilbert Grape? (1993)
They never give you an answer but I got a pretty good idea; and I think DiCaprio, Lewis, and Reilly had something to do with it.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 140  Average listal rating (92 ratings) 6.3  IMDB Rating 6.9
19. Alive (1993)
Such a facinating true story that actually made me rethink I how I live my life (this has nothing to do with cannibalism, haha)
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 458  Average listal rating (342 ratings) 7  IMDB Rating 7.5
20. Falling Down (1993)
Frustration taken to the extreme. With such an angry protagonist/antagonist, I still can't believe how fun of a film this is.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 495  Average listal rating (317 ratings) 7.3  IMDB Rating 7.9
21. True Romance (1993)
Great supporting cast in this non-traditional love story with Slater's best performance.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 60  Average listal rating (36 ratings) 6.2  IMDB Rating 6.4
22. Heart and Souls (1993)
Downey's performance never got enough credit in this film where he really shows off his acting chops with comedic and dramatic results.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 52  Average listal rating (32 ratings) 6.3  IMDB Rating 6.6
23. My Life (1993)
A very serious and sad movie, not one I usually enjoy; but Michael Keaton really made me care about his character and his future son's life.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 831  Average listal rating (555 ratings) 6.4  IMDB Rating 6.2
24. Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993)
A very non-serious and light movie; one I usually enjoy. "Linkin', fix your boob"
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 494  Average listal rating (303 ratings) 6.1  IMDB Rating
25. The Three Musketeers (1993)
I wouldn't think we'd need another movie about the flippin' Musketeers; but they rolled a fun/funny adventure that can actually be seen multiple times (nice cleavage too)
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 241  Average listal rating (147 ratings) 5.7  IMDB Rating 6.2
26. So I Married an Axe Murderer (1993)
A title that still has me asking how to phrase it. Is he saying it like, "So what's the big deal? I married an axe murderer, so what?
or
- "Hey how's going?"
- "Oh good, still playing softball... oh yeah and the other day I married an axe murderer."
or
is it when he's just realizing what he did "So... I married an axe murderer, hey... damn."

Whatever it is, it was damn funny and a good story with great music.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 217  Average listal rating (135 ratings) 5.4  IMDB Rating 5.3
27. Indecent Proposal (1993)

Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 64  Average listal rating (39 ratings) 6.4  IMDB Rating 6.4

Heartwrenching relationships between siblings and best friends and what they have to go through during Nazi control.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 365  Average listal rating (202 ratings) 7.9  IMDB Rating 7.9
29. Three Colors: Blue (1993)
The swimming scenes are amazing; but probably my least favorite in the trilogy.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 1710  Average listal rating (1148 ratings) 7.8  IMDB Rating
30. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
I haven't seen the 3D version yet; but the original was a delightfully dark and inventive for its time.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 39  Average listal rating (23 ratings) 7.3  IMDB Rating 7.7
31. Gettysburg (1993)
Holy crap a lot of people died.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 345  Average listal rating (244 ratings) 5.4  IMDB Rating 6.2
32. Cliffhanger (1993)
Some great action scenes with the usual bad acting from Stallone and surprising turn to the dark side for Lithgow - he pulls it off.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 63  Average listal rating (37 ratings) 5.2  IMDB Rating 6.2
33. Mad Dog and Glory (1993)
Another surprising bad guy - Bill Murray is great and DeNiro is good and Uma is it sexy.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 84  Average listal rating (40 ratings) 5.6  IMDB Rating 5.8
34. The Adventures of Huck Finn (1993)
Frodo plays a hell of a Huck in this great family-friendly adaption.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 134  Average listal rating (84 ratings) 5.9  IMDB Rating 6.5
35. The Man Without a Face (1993)
Gibson's first turn at directing was pretty good entertainment. It was a little slow paced, and Gibson actually did have a face... just a little burned off.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 314  Average listal rating (207 ratings) 6.7  IMDB Rating
36. El Mariachi (1992)
Desperado's precursor is fun and original but not quite as bad-ass as its follow-up.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 323  Average listal rating (198 ratings) 6.9  IMDB Rating 6.9
37. Benny and Joon (Benny & Joon) (1993)
Crazy good time.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 176  Average listal rating (117 ratings) 7.2  IMDB Rating 7.7
38. A Bronx Tale (1993)
A different take on the mob turned out well, plus I like to roll dice now.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 253  Average listal rating (162 ratings) 6.9  IMDB Rating 7.4
39. Much Ado About Nothing (1993)
It's always been one of my favorite Shakespeare plays and this adaptation was good enough.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 211  Average listal rating (148 ratings) 6.8  IMDB Rating 7.2
40. In the Line of Fire (1993)
Malco and Wood pull in fine performances in this iconic 90s action flick.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 187  Average listal rating (100 ratings) 6.7  IMDB Rating 7.1
41. The Age of Innocence (1993)
DD Lewis is the man and he always will be. That proof is never more obvious in this flick... or at least until "Nine" comes out in December.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 335  Average listal rating (202 ratings) 5.9  IMDB Rating 6.3
42. The Pelican Brief (1993)
Not brief, long but good.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 9  Average listal rating (5 ratings) 8.4  IMDB Rating 6.7
43. Wrestling Ernest Hemingway (1993)
No actual wrestling, just damn fine writing.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 117  Average listal rating (82 ratings) 6.4  IMDB Rating
44. Lorenzo's Oil
Nolte and Surandon are actors I usually can't stand but they're at least tolerable in this well-crafted film.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 254  Average listal rating (168 ratings) 6.1  IMDB Rating 6.8
45. Dave (1993)
Klein should be president because he can roll around in the grass with his dogs.
Stehako's rating:

People who added this item 75  Average listal rating (41 ratings) 5.7  IMDB Rating 5.9
46. Sommersby (1993)

47. Grumpy Old Men (1993)

People who added this item 385  Average listal rating (226 ratings) 7.4  IMDB Rating 7.5
48. The Piano (1993)

49. Into the West (1992)
Is that a fucking unicorn?
