Best Films of 1967
Julie Andrews is one of my favorites, but this is a rare miss. Still entertaining enough, but weak for her.
Stehako's rating:
This movie never met my expectations. Instead of it being a fun romp in the park, as the poster would suggest, it's about two unhappy people stuck with each other.
Stehako's rating:
John Wayne and Robert Mitchum serve as a great duo in this decent western.
Stehako's rating:
A corny musical about a dweeby close-talker who goes from washing windows to being VP within a month at a large but unrealistically inept company.
Stehako's rating:
A restrained and tough Eastern European film that would later inspire Bela Tarr
Stehako's rating:
One of the weaker efforts from Newman, but still solid.
Stehako's rating:
A clever mystery/comedy set in scenic Venice and starring the great Rex Harrison and Maggie Smith
Stehako's rating:
It would be kind of fun to watch "In the Heat of the Night" right before this movie.
Stehako's rating:
Hepburn changes her style a bit to actually pull in a dramatic performance.
