My Favorite 119 Directorial efforts from 109 quality directors; PLUS other noteworthy works.

The independent director was out in full force this decade and by 2009 I finally saw a healthy group of female directors churning out impressive work. Of course Scorsese and the Coens dominated as they have in the past, showing no signs of slowing down.

Enjoy!

That Joel and Ethan Coen bio is bogus. There's nothing credited to them.
