My top 100 favorite female performances of the decade!

Ranging from classic dramatic roles from stars in their twilight years (Bette Davis & Gloria Swanson) to sexy new starlets in comedies (Marilyn Monroe) and two out of my three favorite actresses broke out in this decade (Audrey Hepburn & Grace Kelly (my third is Cate Blanchett)).

Enjoy!

These lists are ridiculously comprehensive. There's so many I still haven't seen and I have too little time to do it. It seems I only get around to watching 100-150 new movies in the last couple years.

Nice to see Grace Kelly at the top where she belongs...not to put her on the pedestal she bemoaned in 'High Society' or anything :)

Great list!!

Glad to see Judy close to the top, where she should be. I loved June Allyson in The Glenn Miller Story. Good list! :)

I really liked her in "Dark Victory" too. In fact she was #7 on the 1930s list:
