I confess. I didn´t catch the freaking Lars Von Trier´s mind. For me it was ridiculous. I´m not referring to the scenery nor the style. But the whole story. Weird, ugly, cold, annoying, boring.
Even all the obvious child appeal, fluffyness and 10 seconds of laugh doesn't save this trash of being the third worst movie I´ve ever seen. I should suspect when I entered the cinema and there where only 20 people (most of them children under 7).
I´m not asking for a plausible story, with a guy who becomes an Easter Bunny itself. Only to not be completely offended with a story brought from the bottom of a trash basket. I really need to forget this... Just save your time!
Oh boy... I would prefer to just had watched to the trailer instead the whole movie. The plot is a madness itself, but the execution is worst than a total mess. I´m not sure, if this was to be a trash comedy or just a trash movie. Ugly, nonsense, crazy, terrible.
Maybe you don't remember this one. And if you really don't, well, you are lucky! I would like to be in your shoes. You know what makes me really mad? The incredible hability of Joel Schumacher to make THIS crap with THAT casting...
Oh, my Gosh. It´s not only weird and bizarre as it looks. It´s durty and badly idiotic movie. PROTECT your brain, save time and money. Let this crap aside when you face it.
Don´t watch to this. You DEFINETLY WILL MESS UP all your braincells.
shiran's rating:
There are, unfortunetely, some hateables movies that forces us to act like heroes and save the humanity from watching. I will list them here for a personal remind...
Thanks for commenting, fellows! I would like (or wouldn´t) to add to the list all those movies that you suggest. Since I must have watched them before put´em here, right? :)
Well, let me explain! Sorry for make you all so furious about including Dogville in this list. But what I´m talking about is that Dogville almost made me puke! I swear! I cannot believe that this ... terrible, horrible, disgusting ... history could be ever take as 'realistic'. I repeat, maybe I didn´t get the Lars Von Trier mind, but I´m definetely not a fan of this kind of artistic bizarre filming. For me it´s pretty bizarre... :) And I swear to you that I´ve watched it until the very end of it.
you should definitely add Disaster Movie, Epic Movie, Ninja Assassin, Alvin and the Chipmunks 1 & 2, and Dragon Wars. If I come up with anything else i'll let you know.
Dogville? k.
and also.. take some pot? you mean smoke some pot, right? But if you really do mean take some pot.. I take my pot with two creams and two sugars.
I joke.
But please remove Dogville :D
Holy shit, I've seen 7 of these movies. I did like Crank, Kung Pow, The Animal and yes, Little Man, but I agree with Hop, The Pest and You Don't Mess with the Zohan.
Leave Dogville here. It's an overly self-important, over-long, and generally under-rewarding viewing experience. Von Trier repeats himself over and over again within the film (and then made two more movies about isolated individuals treating each other like shit- Antichrist and Melancholia), until it's difficult to much care for his labored message.
Yes, the performances are great (Kidman is fearless and marvelous here, and in general) and the style/set-design/concept is admirable. But I'd be just as reluctant to rewatch this as Batman and Robin (the only other movie on this list I've seen) because it my mind both movies are just two different types of bad.
I can see (sort of) where the movie works for some viewers and is maybe an important and enlightening experience. But that wasn't your experience or mine and I'm sure there are many that would feel the same way and benefit from the warning.
I have only seen 2 of these (Batman & Robin and Hitman). I didn't think Hitman was bad. True, I have seen better movies, but there are also worse movies out there. As far as the other movies on this list, I am glad that I didn't waste my time or money on them.
Suggestion for this list: Jack and Jill. I normally like Adam Sandler's movies, I could not bring myself to watch it.
I've seen The Animal! But thanks for trying!
:)
Thanks for commenting!
I wish I had seen this list before I wasted my time on 1/2 these movies.
ahaha
great idea! ^_^

I agree on the other movies, but to see Dogville on that list just made me rage.
