 2105  8.2  8.4 Why of all the Disney movies, when i sat down for this list, this movie came to my mind first? I dont know but then this movie is captivating and very very visually appealing.

1301 8.2 8.4 Grave of fireflies tell you a story of a brother and a sister who are surviving through a war. It's a very heart warming story and you can't help it but to cry in the end.

This movie though has a story issue yet I liked it because of its animation. the visuals are great. Hats off to animators for animating whole sea for us. You will see huge fish moving in the sea and its absolutely eye candy.

1108 8 8.1 This I believe was the first venture of studio Ghibli and its nearly 3 decade old but when I was watching it I was thinking how on earth did they do those visuals and effects back in that time?

1868 8.3 8.2 This is sole pleasure movie. Sotry wise there isn't much to talk about, but its the moments in the movie and the way things progress that make you love it and feel it the way characters feel. It's so charmingly beautiful. I was in love with this movie in first 10 mins.

me and my 14 other class fellows watched this movie in our 2d animation class and we were all the time smiling and laughing! Kuzko love ya! note: its 2nd part kronk's new groove is a huge disappointment.so again i wont recommend that to anyone. Zaishe's rating:

918 7 7.3 Kung fu Panda was AWESOME. It was epic so naturally you have higher expectations from the second movie but here is what happened.
This part 2 has a lot more going on than the first part so where we had a first part with great moments, funny dialogues and just plain fun scenes, now we have little fun moments, not so funny dialogues and lots of back ground stories to original story so though it had it all, it lost its soul somewhere in between. :( My borther watched Kung fu Panda 5 times in cinema and this time I had to ask him 3 times to go watch kung fu panda 2 with me in cinema (my first time his 2nd) he refused. oh but its not all bad in fact, animation is superb. They also experimented mixing it with other type of animation medium and it worked brilliantly. The last scenes are amazing. so over all, I'd still would like to recommend it to people :) Zaishe's rating:

May be I have yet to see lots of west movies to understand this humor but then what's the point of this movie if referencing is required. Texturing: AWESOME, Lighting: way too perfect, Visual effects: too cool and mind blowing but story: nah its fine. We were discussing it in our class too and none of my class fellows liked it, we were all like watch it for texturing only! Zaishe's rating:
858 6.7 6.9 Rio is here because it has a very simple story (even cliched) but has a soul to it (people might disagree with me here) but I enjoyed it and laughed at it.
The scenery is amazing, they created whole Rio in 3d so wow! There is some very awesome action going on it too and yes the Jamoe Foxx song is awesome :) Zaishe's rating:

visuals: simply breath taking but story: very cliched, script could be tighter, little humor could do something in there and characters could have progressed more so yes it is boring and not as much as fun as one can anticipate but since the list title says, awesome animations so it has to be here because WOW, it looks AWESOME. Any of these you haven't seen I highly recommend: Mary and Max, Tokyo Godfathers, Princess Mononoke, both Vampire Hunter D films, Akira...and I swear there are others but I'm drawing a blank. Must be my bedtime. :P
Two animated movies I want to see are Frankenweenie (coming out soon) and Hotel Transylvania (at theaters now) :D
Both movies sound great, I have yet to see them too. :)
