12. Sean Hannity
He's rather annoying to most and in general when speaking on t.v. However, He has some great views and excellent opinions in his books. If you give him a chance, with an open mind.

11. Bill O'Reilly
Many despise him and hate his guts. O'Reilly CRACKS me up and has some WOW relatable viewpoints, that I agree with. On t.v., with guests, he's almost APPALLING! In his books, it's more soothing and fantastic. Great novels Bill writes up. He had a FASCINATING childhood on top of that.

10. F. Scott Fitzgerald
The Great Gatsby, one of the VERY FEW books, I enjoyed in school haha. I loved the book, fantastic dialogue and imagery. I need to read more books from him.

9. Glenn Beck
The most mis-understood political person ever. read his books to see his points. He's the opposite of HATE and not in anyway a "hate-monger" hahaha. Fantastic facts, faith and realism all into his hilarious yet serious books.

8. Dr. Seuss

7. J.K. Rowling
One of FEW authors to give you exquisite detail and fantasy, for your mind to work with. The Harry Potter books, although typical for my age groups, are KILLER books.

6. Yann Martel
Life of Pi was stupendous and quite different I must say. Yann puts so emotion into the characters and with what's going on in the story. I hope to read more books..definitely.

I know "let me guess the Narnia books..typical" sorry but, yup. An outstanding follower of Jesus Christ, he's a great inspiration to me. His quotes are unbelievable, excellent wisdom this man accumulated. The world of Narnia is just wow..to imagine in your mind. LOVE IT.

1. J. R. R. Tolkien
Lord of the rings...'nuff said. The best. Another Christian character influence, I look up to. truly the best author in my view. Sorry Stephen King...I believe you belong in an Asylum, with your disturbed brain.

This is my first year of LEGIT reading. I used to loathe it, now I'm fond of it. So I only have 9 or 10 authors and few books :/

Good list. Keep reading. There are so many greats out there. May I recommend Terry Brooks :)

Bill O'Rielly is a racist. I was watching him the other day, and he said "black minorities are mostly welfare recipients and gang bangers" does this idiot even look at statistics? I did the other day, and most welfare recipients aren't black, it's white people. Just walk in the offices one day, and the only black people there are the ones working behind the desk. He obviously don't look at the real stats. Then he went on to say "we get called racist when we try to solve the problem" so what is the problem Bill? Is it black people?

As much as I dislike Obama, I've come to the conclusion he's helped raise the ratings on Fox News, especially with O'Rielly's comments on him. "My father never did drugs" OK what does that have to do with anything?

Guy is a racist moron that should be beat down by all the minorities that he has pissed off. Then they wonder why so many of us call mainstream media a stereotyping tool.

I know Jeep, I totally agree, I did my research. O'Rielly claiming that African Americans suck up the welfare is a dead lie. But then again, he's going by the media's interpation of it. Every time you see welfare stories on the news, they show black people 80% of the time. Makes people think they are the ones that are the majority on it.
