Fantastic surprise. Down to earth -drama from Afghanistan and a fine statement. For that ½ star extra.

This is also very entertaining in the common way so there isn't any reason for anyone not to watch it.

Tongue in cheek but in almost serious way.

Argentina

Philosophical argentinian scifi with sweet atmosphere, one of a kind. Stimulates some thoughts and keeps you amused.

5. Calendar (1993)

Armenia

Very good film about the difficulty of communication between men. Also almost a study of couple of different characters. This visualized finely? Hard to go wrong.

6. Alexandra's Project (2003)

Australia

It's very cunning in my opinion. You can debate on motives and righteousness of them. Either way, people don't act the same way you would.

Great use of sound lo-fi humming etc. Beautifully shot, edited and well acted. Sold me, great and fun watch.

Austria

'non-shocker' from Haneke but definitely not the most easy to watch, probably the least entertaining as well. It's good though;
Solid , epic and clever. Don't get confused with the plot, just watch closely.

Going for round 1.

As described in lists name. I'm watching (at first) one movie from every country possible. Even if I've seen a film from that specific country.

Hopefully this is a small but rewarding insight to different cultures.
