Typical for Italian food: the Crespelles I grew up on where simple egg crepes with grated cheese (parmesan, romano, etc.) served in chicken broth as a appetizer.

Also, the Welsh Crempog sound a lot like Ffrois. They were thin crepes with currants, served with sprinkled sugar and a squeeze of lemon juice. I had them when I was in Wales a few years ago.
