I love this dance taken from the Second OP.

Equally amusing parody for the Eva crowd.

If you want more check out the scary music video for the song.

2. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (2006)

I'll admit it, this is my favorite dance of the bunch.

It's an elaboration of the ending sequence.

There's a bazillion of parodies but these guys have the most spunk.

To see more of the decadence just type "haruhi dance" on youtube or something.

No, this is not gonna be Rei dancing(?) at the end to various versions of Fly Me to the Moon.

It's the badass scene where Shinji and Asuka do a synchronized dance to defeat the angel.
Dance Like You Want To Win!

If synchronized dancing robots(?) can't save us from the angels, then who can?

Well I find it annoying personally speaking.

An elaboration of the Opening Credits.

This one also has many parodies but for a show that parodies everything else, I feel it just lacks the heart.

Props to silent killer for pointing this one out

Taken from the OP Credits

Now I'm not really sure what this show is about and to be honest the mech design looks kinda lame but that is one of the most amazingest OP sequences I've seen.
Everyone do the monkey!

7. Tenjho tenge (2004)
Well they do start break dancing or something at one point during the Opening Credits

Note: Possibly NSFW?

9. Princess Tutu (2002)
Well it's a show about ballet. If I could I'd put the whole show. But alas I can't.

Check out the spoilerific AMV to see what I'm talking about.

This isn't even a "dance." But it's so cuute anyway.
It's the "Wakey Wakey Exercise" :D

I don't want to put the WHOLE Opening Sequence. For one it's definitely NSFW and two it's too annoying for my tastes.

I liked the looped gif more anyway.

12. Dragon Ball Z (1989)
I'm really stretching things here but the Fusion Dance has the word dance so I'm going with it.

Taken from the Dragon Ball Wiki
The Fusion Dance (Fūsion hā) is a technique that is introduced by Goku during the Buu Saga... The purpose of the Fusion Dance is to temporarily merge two bodies into a single, superior entity.
To correctly perform the Fusion Dance, the fusees must create a perfectly symmetrical image of one another. The Fusion Dance is a short series of poses that are performed by two characters of equal power levels, roughly equal size and same race. In the series, the result of a correctly performed Fusion Dance is a superior being whose power is multiplied several times that of the individual fusees. If one character performs the dance wrong, then it will result in an obese character who is much weaker than either fusee individually. If the timing of the poses is off, it results in a sickley looking fusion who is also much weaker then each fusee individually. Regardless, the fused character possess mixed physical traits of their original counterparts...

Hare Hare Yukai and Caramelldansen are the more popular choices people select, but I particularly like this one here. ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5pKeYLJyt0
I just randomly came across this song and fell in love with the anime. It's from Yes! Pretty Cure 5.
The song is called Ganbalance De Dance.

Description

They can be taken from the ending or opening sequences. They can even be a small segment during the show. But most of all they are dances that for some reason or another people on the internet really dig.

Are these the best? Maybe the first few but it's slim pickings the further down you go.

Most of the best dances are for shows aimed at men.

Any suggestions are welcome.
