1. A Troll in Central Park (1994)
I saw this movie as a very small child & it scared me a little, but after seeing it once I grew up, I realized how much I loved it.
I don't understand why it doesn't get more attention.

2. The Adventures of Scamper the Penguin (1986)
This has been one of my favorite cartoons since before I can remember. Probably because it came out before I was born; I grew up watching it & I've always hoped someday I'd overhear a conversation about it just so I know people haven't forgotten it.

People who added this item 155  Average listal rating (95 ratings) 5.6  IMDB Rating 5.7
3. We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story (1993)
This is another one that scared me [maybe it was the creeper in the circus] but I still love how upbeat & mellow it is at the same time.
I know a lot of people do know of it, but I think more should.

People who added this item 88  Average listal rating (55 ratings) 5.1  IMDB Rating 5.2
4. The Pebble and the Penguin (1995)
I'm not a huge fan of this, but it's got so many stars in it, I'm surprised it's not more popular. I could definitely see it lasting a long time.
Juli's rating:

People who added this item 882  Average listal rating (575 ratings) 6.9  IMDB Rating 6.8
5. An American Tail (1986)
This has to be in my top 5 favorite animated films. From just a baby, I can remember watching this & annoying the crap out of my family singing the songs all the time.
Juli's rating:

People who added this item 59  Average listal rating (29 ratings) 6.6  IMDB Rating 6.3
6. Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman (2000)
Some people would disagree that this is worthy of a "great animated films" list purely because it's not one of the best Chipmunk cartoons, but I say phooey!
It's my favorite of all the Alvin & the gang films.
Juli's rating:

People who added this item 1214  Average listal rating (791 ratings) 7.3  IMDB Rating 7.9
7. The Iron Giant (1999)
I don't remember much about this, just that I thought it was sad as a kid. I know it's probably nostalgia, but I think this is a superb film with amazing voices.
Juli's rating:

People who added this item 265  Average listal rating (149 ratings) 6.2  IMDB Rating 5.6
8. Quest for Camelot (1998)
This isn't so much one of my favorites as it is my mom's, but she'd kill me if she knew I didn't add it.
It's another one of those low-key films that not too many people know of, but has some really memorable moment.s
Juli's rating:

People who added this item 27  Average listal rating (15 ratings) 4.9  IMDB Rating 5.8
9. Madeline: Lost in Paris (1999)
As cheesey as it seems, I love this film. The voices do get a little nerve-grinding but I love the idea of it. I can remember acting out the whole film as I sat & watched it.
Juli's rating:

People who added this item 315  Average listal rating (178 ratings) 6.6  IMDB Rating 6.2
10. The Swan Princess (1994)
This was one of the first princess movies I was aware of. My childhood wasn't as full of Disney as other girls my age, but I got along just fine. This is definitely one of the best fairy tale stories out there.
Juli's rating:

People who added this item 352  Average listal rating (215 ratings) 6.8  IMDB Rating 7.1
11. The Brave Little Toaster (1987)
Okay, this is probably one of the cheesiest, most annoyingly sweet movies ever. Which is what makes it so great. You can't ignore the fact that you wished your toaster would come to life to snuggle with you by the end of it.
Don't deny it, you know you love Blanket.

12. The Pagemaster (1994)
I must have had one of the weirdest childhoods ever, because this is one of those movies that I'd watch almost every day. I popped it in my DVD player a year or two ago after not watching it for over 10 years, & I thought to myself "This is the most frightening thing for a toddler to be watching."
But I turned out virtually normal so apparently the movie didn't freak me out too much.

13. The Road to El Dorado (2000)
One of the newer films on this list. But I love it no matter what. The makers of Quest For Camelot also made this & it's sort of obvious in the animation, but the differences are astounding. The colors are so vibrant & the voice-acting doesn't make me want to strangle myself.
All-in-all, I love this movie.

14. Cats Don't Dance (1997)
My brothers hated me for watching this so much, so did my parents, but I couldn't help myself. It's a fairly innocent tale of someone looking for fame in all the wrong places who ends up with the best friends a person could ask for.
Call me crazy, but that's one hell of a message.

15. Metropolis (2001)
I admit, I had no idea this existed till about... 5 years ago. But details aside, I can't keep myself from thinking about it from time to time. It's so infatuating that you almost can't get it out of your head.
Worth a watch at least once.

16. The Land Before Time (1988)
I used to check this out from the library when I was about 5 & one of those times, I accidentally got the Spanish version. But I didn't care, because I knew every word by heart.
That's dedication for damn sure. That says something.

17. FernGully: The Last Rainforest (1992)
I don't remember a lot about this one, but seeing as it came out the year I was born, I don't expect to. I do remember liking it & wishing I lived in the rain forest.
It's such a light-hearted story with positive & negative values that make you think.
Juli's rating:

Sometimes you just forget they exist, but that doesn't mean they aren't great.

I loved The Brave Little Toaster when I was little. I'm so happy it made it into your list.

Troll: I thought it was stupid for the most part, even as a kid.
Scamper: I had no faith in that character.
We're Back: Never saw it, never will.
Penguin: Same, also because Don Bluth disowned it.
Tail: It's not really forgotten. It's too good to forget.
Chipmunks Meet The Wolfman: I like this one.
Iron Giant: Never saw it, not sure if I will.
Camelot: Never saw it, doesn't look very interesting.
Madeline: I barely remember this, but boy was it sad.
Swan Princess: Never saw it.
Toaster: Loved it as a kid to the point where I am to this day obsessed with the 80's. I've moved on, though. And yes, I love Blanket :3
Pagemaster: I wanted to see it as a kid, and got reminded by the Nostalgia Critic and saw it, and... it's not half bad.
El Dorado: Never saw it.
Cats Don't Dance: I don't remember seeing it. Maybe I didn't.
Metropolis: Never saw it.
LBT: This traumatized me as a kid. It's better in hindsight, and compared to Bambi, it's much, MUCH better than Bambi.
Ferngully: Never saw it.
