  0  Role: Trini Kwan / Mighty Morphin Yellow How close was she? Audri filmed the pilot before the show got retooled and she was let go. Why she was let go: Specifics Unknown. 
9.2 Role: Adam Park / Mighty Morphin Black
How close was he? He had gotten far enough in the audition process to actually meet the actors who made the show. Why he was turned down: Unknown. However, he later did stunt work for the show, and eventually got his Ranger role on Time Force.

How close was she? Unknown. Why she was turned down: They thought she looked too young for the part. However, when Amy Jo decided to depart, she got a better gig on the show. 
7.1  Role: Dulcea How close was she: Mariska filmed several scenes. However, according to various cast members, the directer wasn't very professional and a lot of things were changed, scrapped and re-filmed. Why she was let go: The people in charge didn't like her scenes, so they brought back the original actress, who had to drop out prior to shooting.
0  Role: Maya / Lost Galaxy Yellow How close was she: She only met the rest of the cast once. Why she was let go: Unknown.

How close was she: Supposedly, it was down to her and the girl who actually got the role. Why she was turned down: Specifics unknown.

How close was she: Her online resume was updated to list her as "Kayla / Yellow Ranger" during the pre-production stages. Then it was replaced with "extra," and when the show premiered, the Yellow Ranger's name was "Summer." Why she was turned down: Unknown. Note: This is unconfirmed by anyone who actually works on the show, and never professionally mentioned outside of the online resume, so it can only be taken with a grain of salt. Comments

Description
A look at the Power Ranger actors that almost were. Some may be familiar, while others are far from it. Any corrections/additions are welcome. As far as I know, there have only been three cast members to change during production: Trini, Dulcea and Princess Shayla. (If anyone knows the original Shayla actress, please let me know so I can add her to the list.)
