I'm just not convinced Costner really deserves to be amongst this pantheon of action star gods. I mean, the rest of these legends not only paved the way for the 80s-90s blockbuster action flick, but they all have sequels upon sequels of movies devoted to their trademark characters. Costner falls short in this area... he should be omitted! ... and forced to watch Waterworld till he dies!!! LOL!
...but yes, he rocked it hard in Mr. Brooks, although, that wasn't an action film. ;)

I agree with the others; there's a lot of stars missing here.
Mel Gibson is a good choice, but his most lethal character was in We Were Soldiers, not Braveheart. But, maybe he did kill more people in Braveheart. Braveheart is the best movie EVER.
