Influenced by Alien (The Movie)

How is it similar?

Extraterrestrial eggs, that can explode, covering people with weird green goo, and infecting them with some sort of alien virus that leads - almost immediately - to "chest bursting". They've basically taken the chest bursting idea from Alien to the extreme here, minus the alien.

Is there any reason to watch it?

If you like gore, this might be worth a watch. It's got more entrails and blood than you can shake a stick at - fired out of air cannons - but it usually looks ridiculously cheesy.

How is it similar?

- Some of the set design is definitely inspired by Alien.
- An alien uses humans as hosts for it's offspring.
- The number of characters on the crew.

Is there any reason to watch it?

The acting may be mostly awful, the story weak, and the effects cheesy, but it was nonetheless a reasonably enjoyable, and entertaining bit of schlock. Worth a watch for those that enjoy b-grade sci-fi horror, and don't mind the similarities to Alien.
