A list of bands/artists currently operating that put out actual albums. Could be albums with unifying themes or concepts, could be bands that put albums together that have an overall flow to them. This is opposed to those bands/artists surviving on "albums" composed of individual songs, where the primary goal is to cash in on a hit single or two rather than provide the listener with a rewarding full-album experience.

In the mp3 age, bands/artists who still record full albums should be celebrated for their efforts, because it takes some balls to keep pushing forward with a supposedly outdated art form.

As music goes more and more digital, I keep up with it less and less. god, I miss how much I used to love music.

Thanks for this. Some great acts collected here. Always nice to see P.O.S. listed! Your moderate dislike for Muse surprises me a bit...

Changed DT's rating after further consideration. There are far worse bands I can think of & they're definitely better than some others that popped up on this list with similar ratings.
