Abbrupt, Asinine, and Awsome Movie Endings
Labeled Under: Abrupt
Why: Ha! The penis shot in the closing seconds shocked everyone. If it didn't to you then you are a liar. Mr. Lays's rating:

Why: First off let me say that Rob Zombie did an awesome job on this remake. This movie is awesome, but Michael Myers dies by gun and that's IT! No creepy music letting you know that he is alive! Nothing! (I know that he is still alive) It maybe possible that I am asking for to much...maybe Mr. Lays's rating:
Labeled Under: Awesome/Asinine
Why: Fact: Director Ryuhei Kitamura has stated in interviews that he purposely shot "Versus" without an ending so that the studio would finance the sequel. So far it has backfired. (Still waiting for that sequel Ryuhei!) Ah! So that's why it just leaves you hanging. Yes you are welcome. Mystery solved! Mr. Lays's rating:

Why: (Note: I should have watched the movie a second time. I may have missed overlooked key scenes.) The point of the car wreck and him just walking off? I am assuming that he killed the lady b/c he checked his shoes for blood. I will watch it again so it do not get death treats. Mr. Lays's rating:
Labeled Under: Awesome
Why: LET THE WHITE DOVES FLY JOHN WOO DAMMIT! Mr. Lays's rating:
Labeled Under: Abrupt
Why: A veteran assassin squares off against a hot shot rookie assassin face off in a guns blazing battle to the finish. What happens? One of them catches a fuckin' seizure b/c of fireworks and dies?! Seriously!? A shame for such and excellent movie. Mr. Lays's rating:
Labeled Under: Asinine
Why: J-Horror films tickle me sometimes how the underlying message is that man is the worst enemy. Not some mutated lizard or moth, but man?! There is some music track in "Suicide Circle" apparently that makes people want to go crazy and commit suicide. All of Japan goes crazy in one really run-on scene full of suicides and a group of teenage school girls roll flesh up for collection while a blond hair dude sings about how the "dead shines all night long"? (sorry for the run-on) Maybe I may need a second viewing, maybe there is some cultural things I do not quite get, or maybe I need to commit suicide to completely understand. Yeah that's it! I'm off to put my head inside of an oven! Mr. Lays's rating:

Why: M.Night does it again! The people dressing as these elaborate monsters to deter people from leaving is cool. I did have one question, how were they able to construct such costumes? Labeled Under: Awesome
Why: If you have seen this need I say more. A massive body count between the Mob, Federal Agents and Body Guards. Very bloody indeed! Mr. Lays's rating:
Labeled Under: Asinine
Why: Did Neo turn into Jesus? Mr. Lays's rating:
Labeled Under: Abrupt and Asinine
Why: First off being that this is based off of a Stephen King novel had me worried. King has sorta fell off as late in the horror department everything else is gold though. Anyways, lets skip to the ending there is one gun with 4 bullets and five people one in particular being a small child (between 5-10). Nobody wants to face what could possibly be awaiting for them outside of the car...so the father kills all of them to spare them from the monsters. With no bullets left he departs the car then the mist clears...and behold its the US Army here to save the day. He was driving away from them the whole time! I am still currently undecided about this ending? Definitely ballsy though. Mr. Lays's rating:
Labeled Under: Awesome
Why: Do I even need to say anything about this movie that hasn't been said? It catapulted M.Night to almost a modern day Hitchcock of today. For better or worse. Unfortunately he has become somewhat a parody of own brilliance. M. Night still is trying to 1up himself till this day. Mr. Lays's rating:

FAIL
The Mist was AWESOME! A true WTF?!-Ending (Let Darabont adapt a S. King Story and you have a Classic!).
But the The Sixth Sense on the other hand, is a overrated movie simply too predictable to have a "shocking" Twist-Ending. "The Others" did that so much better, 2 years later!
Other addable movies might be: SAW (2004), The Departed, Scream, Inception, The Cabin in the Woods, Fight Club, Memento, Triangle, Let Me In/Let The Right One In or Kidnapped.
