You have a couple good finger licking screen caps lol. May I recommend Dexter Morgan from the TV series Dexter? He's a forensic blood spatter analyst by day and a killer of killers by night.

A serial murderer, also known as multiple murderer, is a person who murders three or more people over a period of thirty days or more, with a period of "cooling off" between each murder, and whose motivation is based on psychological gratification that gives the act. The serial murderers are specifically motivated by a multitude of psychological impulses, especially lust for power and sexual compulsion. The crimes are usually carried out in a similar fashion and the victims often share some characteristic (eg. Occupation, race, appearance, sex, or age).

The serial murderers should not be confused with mass murderers, who kill large numbers of victims simultaneously in a short period of time, or with lightning murderers, who commit multiple murders in a short period and in different places , nor deal with the genocidal murderers of entire peoples for political reasons (Franco, Mao, Pinochet, Pol Pot, Stalin), race (Hitler) or economic (Leopold II). The term serial killer (mass murderer) was coined by FBI special agent Robert Ressler in the 1970s but had been described many years before. There is evidence that the German police inspector Ernst Gennat already used this concept in 1930

The term serial murderer (serial killer), was presumably coined by agent Robert Ressler in the 70s. The term serial murderer entered the popular language in large part due to the publicity given to crimes of Ted Bundy and David Berkowitz ("Son of Sam") in the middle of that decade. Although one of the first times this concept was used with the "Murderer of Cleveland torsos."
The term allows criminologists distinguish those offenders who kill several people over a long period, of those who kill many people in a single event (mass murderers). A third type of mass murderer is the murderer lightning.
Then some brief definitions of these three types:
A serial murderer is someone who commits three or more murders over an extended period with a period of cooling between each crime. In the midst of their crimes, they seem pretty normal, a condition which Hervey Cleckley and Robert Hare call the "mask of sanity." There is often - but not always - a sexual element in this type of murderers (Fred West, Zodiac murderer, Luis Alfredo Garavito).
A mass murderer, on the other hand, is an individual who commits multiple murders once isolated and in one place. The authors sometimes commit suicide, therefore, knowledge of his mental state and what motivates them to act that way, often left to speculation. The few mass murderers who have been caught clearly say they do not remember the event.
A spree killer commits multiple murders in different locations, within a period ranging from a few hours to several days. Unlike mass murderers, they do not return to their normal behavior between murders.
All these types of crimes mentioned are usually accomplished by one person. But there have been examples in the three categories in which two or more perpetrators have acted together. The writer Michael Newton says this happens in about one third of cases.
There are other types of multiple murders too, although they are often associated with large organizations and not two or three murderers: genocide and terrorist attacks. The multiple murderers have been predominantly male. Women represent a minority in the statistics of serial murderers. The serial murderers are specifically motivated by a multitude of psychological impulses, especially lust for power and sexual compulsion. They often have feelings of inadequacy and worthlessness, sometimes owing to humiliation and abuse in childhood and / or the pressure of poverty, low socioeconomic status also in adulthood, offsetting his crimes this and giving them a sense of power and often revenge, during and after committing the crimes. The knowledge of their actions terrify entire communities and often confuse the police, which are incentive consequences of his sense of power. This detaches motivational aspect of the hired murderers and other multiple murderers who are motivated by profit. For example, in Scotland during the 1820s, William Burke and William Hare murdered people in what became known as the "body snatcher Case". They are not listed as serial murderers in most criminologists definitions, because their motives were primarily economic.
The Serial murderers often have extremely sadistic impulses. These override the ability to empathize with the suffering of others, in this way, are frequently called psychopaths or sociopaths, terms that have been renamed by psychologists as antisocial personality disorder. Some serial murderers make use of lust and torture for sexual pleasure by mutilation of the victim and killing her slowly for a prolonged period of time.
