The list contains films which Sight and Sound magazine chose as the best largely neglected or forgotten masterpieces - 'films time forgot'. The list was published in August 2007.

Also includes Prince ChatriChalem Yukol's 1976 Thai action film Grounded God (Not on imdb so couldn't be added.) starring Sorapong Chatree and Wiyada Umarin.

In my opinion this is one of the most interesting lists I've made if not the most interesting. Many of these films are really rare. Only a few of them have been published in widely known dvd editions (for example Intimate Lighting and Marketa Lazarová which happen to be also the only films I've seen of these).

Good luck for hunting these gems and seeing them in vhs, dvd or laserdisc format or in theatres.

These kind of lists make me happy: They make me realise cinéma is an endless treasure chest of wonderful experiences.
